I've not done one since a plethora of 2-1 losses so it's time to do one.

In a word or two, let's attack a bit eh? Come on, couple of goals here and there, not too much to ask is it?

I think it's time to take Rooney out of the limelight but I doubt he will but ideally it will be Martial at centre forward, Mata at ten with Young and Herrera either side.

A nice steady pair of Schweins at CM behind that.

I would have Blind at left back every day, the rest of the defence picks itself.

    2-1 loss all the way.

After a good point in Russia a win here sets you up nicely.

The major point is, nothing to fear.

Not one single thing at all to fear whatsoever. We're at home, against a Russian side never travel well. They are right outside their 'comfort' zone (if you can call sub zero temperatures that) so we really have to win.

    No excuses at all.

Excuse me, that was my idea anyway, you just copied it.

The fact is, there are no interesting facts.

Putin's favourite team is Zenit St Petersburgh. By stuffing CSKA we will be defeating one of commie Vladimir's evil arch enemies, which can only be a good thing bcos as we all know from 2008 it's Red in Russia.

    Interesting fact.

The Commies have never beaten UTD at OT in 2015

Herrera dropped. Looks like Martial up top and Rooney in behind. Some of us called that one...!

I feel for the lad. He basically knows that he will only get a game when the manager hasn't got other players available and he has to have a stormer in every game to keep his place. One bad game and he's out. He'll get disillusioned soon enough.

    Please god a goal :emoticon-0105-wink:

I too would put Martial up front, wouldn't mind who plays directly behind him.

Looks like its young at right back. I don't think that's a good idea, several times it has been proven that young is useless on the right. Maybe martial upfront today, but it looks like taking one step forward and 2 steps backward with young at rb. I may be wrong though.

And I won't be surprised if its still Rooney upfront flanked by lingard and martial with mata behind Rooney.

Herrera is always the scapegoat. He must play at top level every game or risk being dropped.

Shame that Herrera is not playing. The consolation is that this team has pace and mata is playing.

Playing Young or Valencia at full backs is a double edged sword. Young in particular gets found out in defence by better teams. On the other side they both add to the attack. IF Martial is up front it will be nice to see LVG has bent a little. By sticking with Rooney leading the attack he was in danger of cutting his nose of to spite his face.

Young anywhere on the left is fine. As a LW he's very good and even as a LWB he does a job. Unfortunately anywhere on the right and he is nowhere near the same player.
