After you got the early goal you just dropped off to the edge of your box and allowed them to come at you.

It was ridiculous, they were there for the taking if you'd have remained on the front foot.

It's amazing how the title winning side of last season has morphed into the mess that we witnessed on Saturday.

 

So the **** continues!!

As per Tobes, I just can't see how essentially the same side from last season has fallen so badly. I literally go into games not expecting to win anymore.

I made a joke about it last week but we really are giving out our Christmas presents early this year. Bet Sunderland are gutted they don't have us for a while!!

Not sure what the answer is. Each week I'm hoping this next game will be the catalyst for the turnaround but that's now effectively 3 losses in a week. Doesn't help when things like the Lucas thing goes against you though. That was an embarrassing decision given the other bookings given out up to that point.

The only thing I can take from it was that it was good to see the Chelsea fans not turning on Jose. Clearly the match going fans aren't as fickle as some forum posters

If we lose in the C.L this week though I'd really fear for his job...as I said last week.

It all points to dressing room unrest, but the lack of confidence on the pitch was also palpable.

He needs to sort out that backline as a starting point. Zouma at RB simply didn't work and Terry is shot imo.

If you can keep a couple of clean sheets then you'll be back in business, as you'll always score goals. But at the minute you're having to score 2 or 3 to get a point!

 

It's amazing, they're conceding an average of 2 goals per game. What a shambles. They're a joke.

 

Yeah not sure what his obsession with playing centre halves at right back is!

He had an average game v Villa but what must Rahman be thinking? Near 20 million transfer fee and can't get a sniff.

Problem being, Dave aside, anyone who has been picked in defence has struggled, and they have not been provided enough protection from the defensive mid area either. Playing Mikel at all was a massive sign of desperation. Mikel is an ok player but is purely a shield and playing him, Ramires and Zouma just pointed towards trying to nick a 1-0 to me.

Jose has talked up giving youth a chance but players like Kenedy and RLC have looked good when given chances but then we just revert to the same out of form players when the important games come around.

But like I say, not really sure what the answer is. So many players are out of form.

 

I agree, we need to be playing for the 0-0 bore draws like Louis

Seriously when the team is sliding and losing matches, the best thing is to do is get that draw and that point to arrest the slide. I would park the bus and go for a 0-0 borefest the next match. Even against Dynamo Kiev at home. A win is great but a defeat will be a total disaster and Jose will be sacked.

 

And despite all that dreariness we've still outscored Liverpool in the PL. Go figure.

 

That's what happens when you have an easy start. And this is what happens now that easy start is ending.

Always nice to have an easy start. I was certainly relieved when I saw we had Liverpool at OT early on in the season.

As for jizzing fans...the Liverpool board is like a bukkake session despite the fact that you've slipped further down the table than last season!
