Why a mile? I agree Hes one of the Prems best players but I wouldn't go that far.

Think it shows that there isn't a clear, stand out candidate which can only be a good thing!

It's the system, absolutely. LVG has had access to Rooney, RVP, Falcao, Hernandez and Di Maria and they all went from top-top-top class players to absolute ****.

Possession is all that matters to Louis Van Gaal, if he doesn't realise the error of his ways and that his system will not work he'll have a mutiny on his hands before long.

Rooney is the best number 10 in the country for me and will never be a great midfielder. I'd sooner get rid of Van Gaal than Rooney.

On current form... No Liverpool players should be considered the best anything. If Ozil is being considered as a genuine number 10, which he isn't, then I'm having De Bruyne.

What is Ozil then? I've always considered a 10 someone who plays in behind a striker. Central player in a 4-2-3-1 type formation. De Bruyne is a great shout actually.

I guess you could define it as whatever you like nowadays, there's so much philosophy and bullshit added to the game now people just make it up.

I guess it's just the new fashionable name for CAM - I'd say Rooney is your typical English number 10... I always think of 10 as the 'less greedy, more inventive' striker.

Perez plays a proper 10 for you I think.
