<laugh> They were the worst team we've played so far this season.

We spent most of the game in third gear today but MK were very poor. If Elmo had bothered to help Odubajo I don't think they would have touched the ball in our box at all.
I'd also like to say that if you're a gobby twat who berates fellow fans for not singing when you do, don't **** off to the bar ten minutes before half time and leave your fellow fans to support the team without you.

MK Dons fans seem to be boycotting over a disagreement that the club isn't spending money it hasn't got.

Padded seats were very nice. They must have been as the top tier never stood up at all apart from the back 3 rows.
Very impressive stadium and surrounding area.

Agree about the stadium and surrounds - for me, it probably shades Brighton as the best ground outside the PL, the PA system and acoustics were brilliant, big wide pitch too (do they play rugby on it?).

Not normally, but it's hosted a rugby world cup game a few weeks back.

    PA was too bloody loud!!
I tell you what they had as well. Keen ball boys. One even ran up and put it in the arc for the player.

I parked in that industrial estate 50 yards away from the KFC. Out and on the motorway within 5 minutes.

Thanks SA, I wondered about the lines that had been ''greened'' over - I couldn't remember them having a rugby team.

I was five-six rows from the front (there was probably only 10 rows up there) and was standing for the first five-ten mins. We all were. Then some miserable sod sat four rows from the back told everybody to sit down and caused a bit of a fuss, resulting in most of us having to sit down (you know, rather than him move to the available seats at the front).

    Re: ball boys.

I thought they were good. Noticed they were considerably younger than the ones we used. They seemed to have real passion for what they were doing and really eager. Ours are typical half-arsed teens who are only concentrating on their hairstyle.

We had the same thing but sat further back - I think we're stuck between a rock and a hard place, we grumble about poor support, but, when we do take a few more we end up with a load of ''sitters'' who don't know any of the songs ......... it's a ****in' ballache.

I think when they built it they hoped one of the London rugby union teams would move there, Irish, Wasps and Saracens were all looking at the time but nothing worked out.

Got to say I was very impressed with the ground, loved the open concourse in the bottom tier, copied straight from the U.S stadiums but it's a nice touch.

Apart from the young girl sat in the empty stand on her own, took her ages to get the ball then couldn't throw it far enough to get it back onto the pitch!

That song that went on for about 5 minutes before kick off was horrendous, it did nothing to help my hangover!

It's a decent stadium, but bloody stupid that they don't put everyone on the lower level.

We always get a lot of sitters at any games in the south, living in London must make people tired.

As someone who lives in London I appreciated the padded seats today - and the generous amount of leg space - mainly because there was little in the game to bring the crowd to its feet. And how is it that, in the most anonymous of new town stadiums - with a choice of half-decent food outlets immediately opposite - I am allowed to smoke a *** at half time, something denied to supporters at the KC? City won despite never getting out of third gear.

What's with the SITDOWN brigade? I walked up to my seat & my wife said " I've just been told to sit down" I said " who said it?" And this man shouted " me! Try the padded seats" so I stood up all through the game! Even though my back was killing me! :1980_boogie_down:
