Anyone watching the Chelsea v Pool game? Chelsea are so poor. You'd think the game was at Anfirld from the crowd noises. Only hear cheers when a decision goes Liverpool's way. The Stamford Bridge crowd are not behind the team at all.

Its been an enjoyable game, notice when Costa kicked skrtel, the calm reaction of skrtel ? Costa should have been sent off, but I would think skrtel's calm and understanding reaction was due to him once playing with a certain Suarez.

Liverpool have played to a high standard, high pressing, clever link up play and you can already see the comparisons with Klopps dortmund side.

Us lot? Your issue is with Croydon. Were they watching Mourinho when that pic was taken - otherwise, it is a little over the top for gaining 3 points over a relegation candidate

United and Chelsea are so, so poor at the minute. We've been extremely fortunate in that over the past 5-6 years our campaigns to secure 4/5th place has benefited tremendously from one or more of our vastly wealthier rivals going through transition seasons due to inept managers, players or both. Before this season started, I honestly thought that this run of luck had justifiably run its course - I expected United and Chelsea to be exceptionally strong this season, and certainly didn't think Liverpool would get off to such a sluggish start (although the Klopp factor does seem to be having an effect). At the start of the season I, like many other Spurs fans, would've been happy with 6th place and good cup runs.

Am I being overly optimistic to say that 4th place isn't out of our reach? We're playing very well and picking up results despite key players being out injured, and the two teams I've mentioned above are quite literally there for the taking. I can't see Leicester and W Ham up there come the second half of the season, Swansea, Southampton and Everton have been a bit hit and miss so far...I mean, who else is there? City and Arsenal are the only two teams noticeably better than us when they bring their A game, and we've thrashed one of them already.

It seems that I think the same thing to myself every year: 'we've never had a better opportunity to get back into the top 4'. And if we don't, it will be because of our own ineptitude, not the quality of our rivals.

Dembele and Danny Rose with four goals between them in the first 20 mins today

You can't ask for more than that

Utd having a s***e spell, but defending well at least. City & Arsenal look a cut above the rest, although neither are without flaws.

CIty are clear favourites for the title, as no sane individual would look at the goons and believe they can sustain their form while fighting off City, who have Aguero and Silva to return.

With City winning the title you have Utd and the goons fighting for 2nd/3rd and then yes, as much as I have labelled Pochettino an average manager, an opportunity has presented itself, as Chelsea may not recover, if they can't recover then looking at recent league history, if Pochettino can't take advantage then there would be no excuses, none whatsoever.

Little teams like west ham, saints, Leicester etc, are having their moments, as they get to appear near the top order of MOTD, rather then always being last, while its great to see these teams freshen up the table at this stage.

But in terms of top four, only ourselves and LIverpool are capable of taking advantage, as you feel Everton don't have the squad to compete come the business end.

Anyway, Pochettino, this is your opportunity to win certain fans over and take spurs into the champions league with Harry Kane......

As a perfectly sane individual I predicted that Arsenal would win the league before the season started and see no reason yet to change my mind. Both City and Arsenal have a number of players out through injury. My view was based on the last 14 or so games of last season when Arsenal were clearly the best team in the league they went on a run then and they could do it again from a much stronger starting position this season.

And yes Spurs could take advantage of the lack of consistency from United & Chelsea to gain a place in the top 4 but I can assure you Boss that there of plenty of reasons that we would not.

Exactly so. Through gritted teeth I tipped them also, it will come down to a crap shoot between the Gunners and City. Everyone else seems to have issues and we could take advantage this year.

The goons are the masters of title winning form at a stage when no title can be won. To back them based on that form is why the bookies are laughing at the pre season predictions.

Anyway Spurf, goons champions and ourselves top four, same season? If that happens then I'll get rosie the dog tattooed on my chest!

I like how they have an "Ode to the Sweat Stain" theme. I'm still trying to work out if some of the dark patches are intentional. They certainly grow as the game goes on.
