    Defended well and general play was good. Our final ball was though, and obviously Butland was ridiculous. He is a fantastic talent that lad. I look at our best Krul, he is way off Butland.

    We simply must sign a left back. We have one can't defend, and another who offers nothing at all going forward. Currently its like picking whether to step normal dog ****, or white dog ****. We simply must sort this issue as a priority in Jan. I'd be looking for two, neither is capable of playing PPL football end of story. 95% said this at the start of the season, what the **** are these lot watching in training? Colo did ok again but lets not kid ourselves, we need a centre back. I quite like the look of Lascelles.

    Tiote was good today, its nice to see him gradually improving. Problem is him and Anita are tidy, but they can't pick passes. The decision not to go for Cabaye looks stupid right now. We must sign a ball player too.

    All round we were canny but the worry is it was a bit of a must win.

    January shopping list is big. Left back, Matip, ball player, Austin would be nice...
