Ramsey has taken us back ten years!....awful style....no cohesion...no passion....no direction....no chance......Ramsey n co out!
Worse performances I can remember in many years yet still Jonah fernandes n co back this incompetent clown!
Alot of the problem is mixed messages.......initially this season was one of consolidation which was reasonable in the circumstances and I think most supporters accepted.......then the 4 or 5 big earners who we all thought would go in the transfer window didn't go and all of a sudden the message is that promotion is the goal with TF tweeting that "Promotion means the world to him"......now at the moment the performances are not great (slight understatement) and the pressure is being cranked up..... In a way i feel sorry for Ramsey because if the expectation wasn't so intense from the owners whom seem to have moved the goalposts since the start of the season, where we are at the moment wouldn't be so bad....but I have to say that last nights game was pretty damning in the way there was a lack of appetite for the challenge and Ramsey's comments afterwards about not taking our chances etc were laughable because apart from hitting the woodwork twice and the keeper making 2 routine saves from Phillips I don't recall us making any chances, certainly not ones where you think "how the hell didn't we score there?" I believe it'll get worse before it gets better starting with Derby on Tuesday........
Even consolidation doesn't mean not competing at all in midfield. In fact the opposite should be true if we are truly rebuilding - at least you can have spirit where talent is lacking. When you see experienced professionals playing so tentatively I fear there is something seriously wrong in the dressing room.
Agreed, as to consolidate we need at least 50 odd points and after last night that seems a long way off........
In footballing terms what does consolidation actually mean? Seems to me that the word is used as a type of excuse for repeated poor performances. Consolidation in footballing terms doesn't appear to be relevant to some other teams either.
Ok Ramsey is lost and just not a manager but most of our players are awful!...Anouha,Henry,Perch,Hill,etc,etc are just very average players.Ok we need a manager that can motivate and manage, but you cant make average players suddenly develop skill. Most of our players do not have the skill set to able to compete anywhere near the top of the championship.Apart from tow or three players, this lot are league 1 level.
Only us could get to the promised land and end up 200m in debt and still a laughing stock. Consolidation for me is not dropping any further. Our only goal should be playoffs as worst case scenario. First step is total clearout of management and appoint new team and review playing strategy. It's not difficult to my mind..just look at Brighton..pants last year and appoint half dent manager and it all comes together on the pitch after doing what we should had done first which is build new stadium.
I thought Ramsey was a breath of fresh air after Redknapp because he gave youngsters a chance. What happened? Perch and Onuoha failing at right-back whilst Furlong and Harriman are out on loan. Konchesky failing at left-back whilst Yun and Kpekwa wait for a chance. The ridiculous pairing of Henry and Toszer. **** Sherwood and **** Pearson, let Warnock take over. Go back to being a coach, Chris.
