i work at the Toyota and Lexus head office and on Monday one of my all time idols is coming to our office as an ambassador of Lexus. The one and only Michel Roux Jr. I used to be a chef and he was the one chef I looked Upto and aspired to be when I was starting out. I can't bloody wait, I've got one of his cookery books ready for him to sign and I'm going to get loads of selfies with him. Anyone else met any of their true idols?

The only hero I've ever met of mine, I lived with her for 17 years and she brought up three boys on her own and put food on the table every single day. Met hundreds of famous people mind, my favourite was Neville Southall, one of the nicest people anybody could ever meet, a gentle giant.

I was pretty good at snooker as a kid until I lost interest and started playing football everyday around the age of 12. They weren't idols but players I liked, Steve Davis and Alan McManus. Steve Davis. What an absolute bastard he was. Saw him in a train station and it was really quiet and empty so I walked up to him and said 'hi, Steve, I play snooker all the time, could I get your autograph?' I had my school bag with me. He just said 'go away' and didn't even make eye contact. He didn't seem angry just thoroughly bored. I am more annoyed as an adult at what he did. I wasn't massively fussed as a kid, I just thought he was weird. It wouldn't matter what I was going through, I would never do that. Who does that to a kid? It wasn't like he was being mobbed or was sick of talking to people. Clearly he felt fine doing it because there were no other adults around to disapprove. Alan McManus. What a great guy. I met him when he was staying in our hotel when I was on holiday in Majorca. Same thing, I go up to him and tell him I play snooker and could I get an autograph. As he's signing his name he asks if I'm any good at pool because if I am he fancies a game! He told me he'd be over at the table in ten mins and sure enough he turns up and has a game with me. The thing I loved is that he was absolutely ruthless. Super nice guy but he wasn't letting me win. I love people who are like that, it really makes me laugh. So, Alan 10/10 bloke points. Steve 10/10 twat points.
I can't say that I have got an idol as such, but some of the staff where I work are definitely bone idol..
Never had a hero. The finest man I ever met in my life was my first father-in-law. I'm proud to have been a very small part of his life.
