Huddlestone Hayden Diame (for the first 60 minutes). Was undecided between Diame and Maloney for the third vote.
Huddlestone Hayden Dawson It could just as easily been Odubajo or Robertson in there, in fact, there wasn't a single poor performance, even Taylor was excellent.
Odubajo Hudds Robertson It could have been anyone in the top 3, but Moses did more in the game for me than Hudds, although he was highly involved, most was laying short passes off. The one thing I noticed last night was that everything seemed to have to go through Dawson, at one point the ball was out for a throw near their box & it came in, it made me think, "wait Dawson hasn't touched it," but sure enough it made its way back to him. I understand there's no point just passing for the sake of it when there's nothing on, but it did seem to make an awful lot of distance back sometimes when there was an open player. I suppose it's the luxury of having a high up view!
1) Huddlestone 2) Odubajo 3) Hayden NB. Taylor and Maguire get a mention in despatches. No bad performances at all.
