It was definitely a penalty but if the player wouldn't have been likely to score given they wouldn't have got the ball I can understand it not being a red.
Just seen SSN and Vardy was definitely onside for our goal. The whole ball didn't cross the line for that Schwarzer mistake either. Which was ****ing ridiculous
He missed a good chance early It was difficult for him as a lone striker I think he's a good prospect though.
I think we could have taken it to them from the start more. It worked out in the end after penalties and we fought back well after going a goal down, but I think we could have won in 90 minutes with more pressure (even with the ref against us).
Seriously with that list of achievements alongside the squad we have it's a ****ing travesty we were relegated. It should not have happened.
The assistant referee couldn't possibly judge from his position. I assume there's a rule that goal line technology, even if installed, can't be used in League Cup matches.
Great performance tonight, I'd love to see Luer be loaned out to a League 1 side to see if he can toughen up a little bit. He looks very decent technically but he was getting knocked all over by their centre halves (who didn't look particularly strong).
Just seen the highlights again. Vardy is onside. Just. Although it's so fast you could argue he may not be just as contact ends.which means he was when it started. Anyway. **** that debate for a game of soldiers... WE WON
