Looks like Monk will get a bit of shelter from the storm .Something isn't well between him and the board though .also , something looks a bit fishy on how the odds dropped on his dismissal on wednesday, the whole Missing from practice and why was leaked by someone affiliated with the bookies imo , and they had to leak it to the press so they could drop those odds..Merely a theory , but a lot of pieces are dropping in place for me as I try to fit pieces.

That's what whoever started the laugh at the press would have you think. They were merely deflecting attention away from Tuesday absence. I believe someone ,not a reporter and who didn't want to come forward after it was leaked to the press , Wednesday afternoon , was talking about Tuesday's miss from practice. And whoever started the laugh at the press knew that no one was going to answer back to the attempt to deflect .If it was ar reporter he would have said " I'm talking about Tuesday stupid " .The attempt by whoever to try to throw "Monk was already booked For a family event tuesday " at the last of it was pathietic , given that Monk told his players and then the press "he and team would be at practice Tuesday morn

The storm that was softened by a a superb free kick from Siggy that started our team playing with a bit of confidence because up to that point , we were sh!t. We could have easily lost that game without that surge of confidence .. Against probably weakest team in the Premier. Up till Siggy's goal , we were weaker than them.

"We could have easily lost that game..."

And the latest football headlines could have been somewhat different.

I'll tell you when I stood up and took notice of "Manager Monk" , it was when we sold Bony in January 2015 and we went on to have as good a second half of the season as we did the first half , speaks volumes for me.
Over 20 years ago a manager came into the Premier league and had a rough go of it .Talk was everywhere about him being replaced but he won a big FA Cup game to save himself.Over twenty years later he went on to become " Sir Alex" and the rest is history .
As far as I'm concerned , our game against Villa last weekend was Monks " Cup Final".
Now I don't know if he will go on to be "Sir Garry " , but you never know.
