    Hi everyone,

Sorry for a slightly annoying thread but please could someone advise the best place to park near the stadium.

I always catch the train but taking the father in law on Wednesday as he's a Villa fan and I have to drive due to time constraints through work and he's not really capable of walking much distance.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, happy to pay just needs to be fairly close.

    Thanks.

The church at the bottom of St Mary's street has match day parking and the college behind the church also does it, both for a fiver.

You could drop your father in law off and make him walk from town:emoticon-0148-yes:.

Be aware that Southampton city council have a night time parking charge on most of the council car parks. If you arrive before 6pm, you pay whatever it costs up to 6 then a £2 flat charge thereafter.

If you park in Ocean Village it costs £3 or £4, either next to the cinema/Witherspoon's or in the new multistorey. 15 min walk from there to the turnstiles at SMS.

Radcliffe Road offers several sites ranging from £5-00 to £7-00, a short walk from the Stadium, only bugbear is the hold up at Mount Pleasant Crossing!
