You don't rate British players as you're an internet noddy who thinks he's a European football genius in the mold of Balague.

You have some weird snobbery towards English / British players, and constantly refer to them as work horses and lacking in technique.

It's got **** all to do with racism, which can't be said for the intimations that you've consistently aimed at me. You follow the same MO, over and over, you get cornered and then you chuck it in. Says a lot about the kind of twat you probably are in real life.

As for your stats (no link)

Milner has average 2.5 key passes per game.......

    ...to Firmino's 1.........

To go with his no goals and no assists..........

Snobbery lol - you clearly haven't read my comments on players like Barkley or Stones, players that I rate.

That's a nice stat you provided - key passes per game?). Just a shame that Firmino hasn't played a full 90 mins yet.

And it's why I provided stats per mins
because it's fairer given how little time he's played.

    Nice try though.

Lala has improved over the last few weeks. He certainly deserved criticism early in the year but not currently.

As I said before with Milner- I like him. I think his shooting and passing is sloppy at the moment but once he tidies that up he could be a force. Tremendous work rate. Calling him a "passenger" is absurd he is THE most involved player for good or bad.

Firm has been by and large a huge disappointment so far. This last game he was ok. He didn't look quite like the confused baby or a topless beach. He looks like belonged... Still nothing special but not as bad as normal. His Aspas impersonation is over. Hopefully he will improve more.

Coutinho has always been anonymous for long stretches of games. The difference is he usually has moments of brilliance too. Hes missing that now. I think Cout needs to be benched for a few games to get that hunger back.

Coutinho lost form and was dropped for a period last season to. In fact Allen took his spot briefly the season before that to.

  6. Anyone think its coincidence that Lallana's form picked up around the same time as Coutinho's formed dropped off? I don't believe they get in each others way.

What form? Lallana hasn't been great - he had one decent game against Rubin. He went back to his normal quiet self yesterday.

Fair enough, he's less sh*t than those around him but he's not in form.

  9. He's been playing better for three or four games now. He was at a acceptable standard against Rubin #difference

La la didn't do much special yesterday but he didn't screw up much either. That's an improvement for him. <ok> Sometimes not going noticed means you didn't make mistakes .

Acceptable standard? Creating very few chances is not acceptable.

And I'm not sure he is playing better. The difference is Coutinho is struggling and we use him as a barometer. When he was playing well, Lallana looked sh*t. Coutinho now underperforming and Lallana looks better.

Not arguing that Lallana has been better of the two over past few games.

But for our attacker, he should be noticed. We are looking for him to create.

We're not spending big money and wages on players to simply not mess up.

  14. No point in discussing Lallana with you Jimmy, it would be like discussing the committee, Flanno, Milner or casual racism <laugh>

But you're now praising a player for simply not messing up. What have we become?

I'd have more respect for a player who tries things and gives the ball away, than someone who bottles it and opts for the easy option.

It's why players like Ine, can and markovic get so much stick.

He isn't as good as we need to meet our goals. I won't make that argument... Only saying he is "better than he has been". I have hope he can improve more. Time will tell.

  17. Lallana does try things and often gives the ball away as a result. You are blinded by your hatred for the lad. Yes, we need better but he's the best we have at the moment and he's not playing badly.

Jimmy what I don't understand is your hatred to anything you perceive Rodgers and your refusal to change opinion even when facts are against your arguments. But then again you wrote this about Rodgers

Rodgers is proving himself to be tacticalyl astute in his in-game management.

But where he has really shone is his coaching. He's making players believe and they're getting better and better. If you look at the squad this season, not many of the new signings have made an impact bar Mignolet, and to a smaller extent, Sakho.

This shows you that he has taken the team from last season (that finished 7th) and simply made them better.

Not only that, he carries himself extremely well with the media - I know some people don't like it and think he's like David Brent but I don't. In a day and age when the media is so powerful and in your face 24/7, he's done bloody well. Now with a bit of success behind him, his words will carry much more weight.

  19. When did he write that? After the 2012-13 (Brod's first) or 2013-14 (second) season?
