I'm sure Rooney will score a couple past Middlesborough and LVG will proclaim the second coming.

I thought city were pretty good defensively but offensively both teams were ****. It was a boring game of football with a handful of passengers between the teams. Both teams wanted to avoid losing more than they wanted to win.

The only positive Utd can take is Martial. In every game I've seen him play for Utd he has shown signs that he can become a great player. And despite not necessarily playing him down the middle, LVG looks like he trusts him enough to give him the game time to develop. Or at least he is so far with Martial playing well.

He is only young and yet looked more capable of making something happen than any of your other players.

I'd have liked to see him at Arsenal and think he'd fit in well, but I expect he will do very well for Utd. He cost a lot but he seems to be adapting very quickly and if he can continue this form throughout the season he may well justify his price tag.

Real always were on Barca's Shadow
poor Pellegrini had one season with Real !!!
they were 2nd before he comes to them with Schuster with 78 points, Pellegrini finished 2nd with 96 points (second highest points no. in their whole history), Jose who followed him finished 2nd with even lower points 92 points.. so pls give the guy some credit.
beside you are missing the point, I said Pep was lucky with the alike of Xavi, Yaya, inesta, Messi at their peak, since he lost Yaya and other get older, Barca started to show cracks.. even Rodgers looked like GOD when he had suarez in his team.
Pellegrini is more balanced manager who has been tried with many clubs, unlike Pep who is tactically weaker and unproven with other clubs

I will be gutted if Rooney started ... first he need a rest, and secondly I prefer to see some of our kids playing , I rather see Wilson, Depay, Fellaini, Lingard starting as our attacking 4 players

So in a nutshell, we didn't win and it's Rooney's fault

Lvg trying to walk the ball into the net, I just don't get it arsenal used to play like this in the past and didn't get them anywhere. Now they changed their tactics and getting the result. Sanchez is a good buy, a player that can take risk and shoot from outside, likewise ramsey. Even giroud can shoot from anywhere. And look at cazorla. If we are trying to play like Barcelona then we need a player that can perform magic, the Messi and neymar. But we don't have such players so I don't see this style of football working tbh.

U can all imagine martial is our most dangerous player. The only player that tried to shoot from outside is herrera and we can all see the look on van gaal's face whenever he shoots and misses. The manager just dont like his players taking risks. This is why I still think Memphis should player. Look I know he hasn't lived up to expectation, but he is a type of player that can cut in and shoot from outside. We saw that during the champions league play offs. At least if we have 9 players passing the ball around, we should have at least one or 2 that can take risk and shoot. We can't win with all 10 players passing the ball around. Rooney use to shoot in the past but at the moment he is FINISHED. I'm sorry I'm being blunt but that's the truth. People say he is out of form, the truth is he is finished.

Am I missing something here or did we not score 3 goals in 3 consecutive games just prior to the last 2 draws?

Don't ask silly questions Diego, United don't shoot so we never score.

You're missing the 3 goals we conceded to arsenal :D

And while 3 goals against the mighty Ipswich and naive defensive displays of Everton and Southampton were good to see, I think the problem is whether we are capable of breaking down well organised defences under the current style. I've yet to see it.
