Arsène Wenger has revealed the latest team updates ahead of Tuesday night's Capital One Cup fourth-round clash against Sheffield Wednesday:
    on the team news...

There are no new problems from Saturday, Per Mertesacker is available again after illness. Nobody else is coming back. Arteta will not be fit. Ramsey, Wilshere, Welbeck and Rosicky of course are all out too.

on who will play in goal...
Ospina is still out too, so Cech will certainly play.

    Most likely team:

    Macey

    Debuchey Chambers Gabriel Gibbs

    Flamini Santi

    Campbell Ozil oxlade

    Walcott

I wouldn't Ozil and Santi to play again but we are thin in our squad right now.

We are going to need to rest some players for this one I think.

I'd play oxo again despite his poor performance against Everton as he is fresher than others and it'll give him a chance to try and play himself into form.

Campbell may well play too. Maybe an oxo--Walcott--Campbell front three? Unless some of the youths play, which they probably will.

Agreed, I think at this stage we need to start thinking of rotating, as we have a few injuries at the moment. Time to pepper the team with some of our second-string/youth players. Campbell is a great shout and should make for an exciting front three.

Arsenal87's midfield looks like a good pick and rests Coqs and Ozil. I would play Walcott over Giroud, as he was rested and I would be keen to keep Walcott ticking over with goals and confidence. We could well play a restrained game and go for the counter with a front three of Walcott, OXO and Campbell. That is a hell of a lot of speed and attack there and Flamini and Arteta should be able to keep things tidy in midfield.

Reckon Iwobi will get a start on the wing ahead of Oxo. Walcott and Campbell to make up the rest of the front three as pace can kill anyone.
Behind them, I wouldn't mind seeing Oxo in the CAM position with Arteta and Flamini holding.

At the back, Gibbs, Gabriel, Chambers and Debuchy. Its a chance to rest the first choice back 4 and give these lot a chance.
Macey in goal purely because anyone better is injured and Wenger never seems to play his top keeper in this cup.

I think that chambers, oxo, gibbs and flamini definitely need to play. I dont think id trust both debuchy and chambers together after what happened last time...

Anyone seen Kamara or know anything about him? According to that site, he is most likely to start.

Personally I wouldn't take that blog's suggested team as gospel. It would be a huge risk to use that midfield/attack tbh.

But I know little of Kamara, and haven't seen him play....

Haven't seen what the bench is yet. Going to have to change my scorers on the prediction thread!

I hold my hands up, I was dead wrong with that lineup while the arsenal youth blog was right. One of the reasons I don't do the predictions lol.

Big risk with that defence with a youngster in front of it, hope flamini and debuchy step up.

Sheff are in good form with 8 games unbeaten. Hopefully this lot are wanting to prove they belong in the arsenal squad and really put in a shift.
