<peacedove> Tim Sherwood has been sacked,

Tim Sherwood: Aston Villa manager sacked after eight months
Aston Villa have sacked manager Tim Sherwood after eight months in charge, with the club 19th in the Premier League table.
The move follows a 2-1 defeat to Swansea on Saturday - Villa's sixth straight loss in the league.
Under-21 manager Kevin McDonald has been placed in interim charge.
Appointed in February, Sherwood reached the FA Cup final with Villa in his first season in charge, but has won one of ten league matches this term

    David Moyes, come on down!

Sherwood is a massive bell end, and his side were ****ing garbage. He fully deserved the chop.

Possibly but don't forget what Rodgers did with Swansea. Got them playing well with not much money spent.

Waiting for the British media to start complaining about how another young and talented manager wasn't given enough time.

Good news for Sherwood... the Chelsea position will be open soon...

...and he might be able to take the place of whoever replaces Mourinho.

    I actually don't mind him.

I think he's honest and does his best, working with a ****e team and an owner who doesn't invest regularly but continues to sell the best players.

This is not a recipe for success and I will surprised if anyone does anything other than keep them up by the skin of their teeth.

If I was Moyes I wouldn't go anywhere near them.

Villa are a mess of a club. How they've managed to stay in the PL since that joker bought them is a miracle. Ever been to Villa Park? It's a surreal experience.

As an individual he's not bad. As a manager he's not premier league ready yet.

  17. They're three weeks too late. Sam Allardyce was the man they needed/wanted.

McClaren may be available pretty soon.......

Rodgers keeps getting brought up but BeIn sport have already signed him up to do some broadcasting...... few decent sheats in Dubai? Decent.

Villa are talking about bringing in a relatively unknown manager in Remi Garde who has won a couple of cups in France for Leon.

Huge gamble that it is, but as has been said, there are not a lot of 'dig you out of a hole' managers available atm.

Pulis is well dug in at West Brom, Fat Sam now at Sunderland and Pardew is flying at Palace.

They have to get Moyes imo and hope he has a few Spanish players handy and a few contacts still at United.

    Villa are a poison club.

What I dislike most about the Sherwood type of manager are the ones who feel they are too good to develop in lower leagues. He needs to go to the Championship or League 1 and learn how to actually manage. If we expect youth to get time and develop into good players then the same needs to be said for managers.
