Have to agree, I can't see us both getting out of it, I really can't.

I said at the game 'never a pen' but on the replays, for me, the fact he leans in makes it a deliberate obstruction of Fletchers run and therefore a foul, I agree they happen often but usually someone will just stand there ground and the key for me is he goes a stage further and steps in. I don't think it's a red as the keeper would have likely got to ball first anyway, but that's another one on Colo.

I don't think Sissokho is ****, more that he has a massive attitude failure and wants to get paid more and live in London. To be honest I was struggling for a comparison as a 'slightly lesser'.

The thing I will say against Colo is that the keeper was getting the ball and he gave him a chance to give the foul. Was a stupid tackle to make.

Aye you're right on Sissoko, bags of ability but shows it 1 game in 10 if we're lucky. Costs us a lot of goals through his lack of tracking back, mad how we kicked Ben Arfa out for exactly the same thing even though HBA has 10 times the attacking threat and 100 times the talent of Sissoko.

You been noting Ben Arfa and his own goal of the season competition? He is taking the piss week after week scoring absolute crackers.

He could have been one of the worlds best had he chosen, he could have been Barca or Madrid, easily.

Controversy... Just watching the goals now. Pen for sure but never a red card... Anyhow so ****? It always feels better to beat your rivals like that, fair and square is boring.

At least you lot didn't park the bus like ****ing City. De Gea fell asleep in our game.

Sherwood sacked as well <laugh> Said from day zip the guy is a total clown, scrap heaped now Timmy boy, don't worry though we can all see you're class, Real Madrid will be knocking soon enough!

Possesion means **** all though. You did nowt with it, virtually everything on target was straight at at Pants. Gus had us playing possession football and it was ****e. You were ****e, better then us but still ****e. After a 50m spending spree too. I'd be worried I was you. Welcome to reality. We both going to struggle because we're ****.

I have been mate, a little bit more of me dying inside each time. He had the chance to go to the very top, his attitude is the reason we were able to get him. Crazy that we chased him out for it.
We got our decisions in the Shearer era, don't think we've had another one since <laugh>

Not our greatest performance and no doubt the scoreline is deceiving but ****ing hell did we need that, it was starting to feel like we were just waiting for relegation to come and get us but this has got to be the kick start that we need, add a few more points before the nightmare Christmas programme and hopefully we'll claw our way up the league.

Obviously Big Sam set us up to be solid today but there is no denying that we were second best in that first half but they weren't good enough to capitalise on that. We couldn't even get a toehold in the game going forward until Toivonon went off, he was absolutely atrocious today every time he touched the ball he lost it lets hope it's just a bad day at the office for him, when Defoe came on we started looking more likely and he deserves a lot of credit for his role leading up to that penalty.

The penalty at first I thought it was never a pen but in the replays their defender has made no attempt for the ball and just ran into Fletcher to stop his run so had to be a foul though I think some refs wouldn't have given it. We did get a huge slice of luck with the red card though, I don't really see how he denied a clear goalscoring opportunity when the ball was basically in the keepers hands already. Oh well **** it we had a fair bit of bad luck with the ref last week, swings and round abouts.

In the second half we were professional we let them huff and puff and I think in truth the only time in the whole game where you felt they would score was that Mitrovic chance where Pants made a decent save, but to be honest a decent prem striker should be scoring that. We took our chances well in the second half and when that second goal went in the result was never in doubt.

Lots of positives for us in a clean sheet and looking fairly solid as well as looking a lot more clinical going forward, Newcastle played some nice football but I can't remember too many clear opportunities for them I'd imagine when the dust settle most mags will be very concerned with that not to mention their defensive record.

This is the only gracious comment I have seen by a Newcastle fan today. Well done sir, nice to see a bit of class. For what it is worth you were mugged today, thanks mainly to your captain.

Gracious? I've just said you were the better team. But I'm not going to pretend you're Barcalona. We stood off, invited you on, stayed organised and did a job on you.

If you can't see both sides are ****e enjoy your delusion, but don't kid yourself that it makes me ungracious some how. Just saying it how I see it. I'll enjoy us setting the record for consecutive derby victories because why shouldn't I? But next weekend will be on us quick and I'll be more concerned that we can't seem to string a pass together. You should be concerned you can't break down teams, because this is the reality that faces both teams this season.

Speaking of grace. You going to stop cryin on or what?

That's not helping either wish I could just stop caring but it's in my blood and I wish I could just stop caring because I have had enough of it now. And I used to be worse than this I have mellowed. There are more important things in life than this BS but it's hard to take none the less. No doubt our usual charitable neighbourly
nature of six points will save them for a fourth season in a row but have to say can't say how that can really make them happy or satisfied when they have to depend on that to survive. Where's the self respect
