To how you spend other match days?

Do you drink more or do anything else out of the norm?

Its an early kick off (well its 7pm for me) so will it be alcohol for breakfast or do you treat it like any other game?

I havnt decided what to do yet. Go out and half watch it while getting smashed or stay in and actually focus on the game.

Nervous like I never am for any other game.

Just had me breakfast, it's just gone 6am and, once I've given the chickens a good feed we'll be away.
Then it's up to Mansfield, eat, kiss our lass au revoir and off to Sunderland with my middle son.
Call in at Durham, on to Sunderland and a good drink before we sleep in the back of the van if we can't find a hotel.
There are exiles coming in from all ower and there's nowt on line ......... we'll try the little B&B's who aren't on the internet.
Then it's the Worm for breakfast, Victory for drinks & meetings with various colleagues and others then into the ground.

    Haway!!!!

Transmission ends .......... have a good weekend everyone <ok>

We always book a minibus so no one has to drive - make a day of it.

About 15 of us go through early and hit the drink. I need it to calm the nerves.

Just from Consett mate so about 45 mins.

I'll be getting mortal, it's also my birthday tomorrow so 2 excuses to go for it.

Usually start with a drink at breakfast, bottles on the bus, then a few jars of worthies to enjoy.

Well it isn't every game that I would be finishing a 13 hour night shift and heading straight out on the piss before a game..

Off to the Naval Volunteer in Bristol to watch the match on the TV while consuming large amounts of ale - needed to calm the nerves. Seems to be a large contingent of Sunderland fans in Bristol so hoping for a good atmosphere in the pub. Will have a glass of a decent single malt to celebrate our win.
