Theres more to come when Odabajo and Elmo get on the same wavelength
Also we can improve down the left.
The only worries arevthe transfer window and cover at centreback over the next 6 weeks.
    Otherwise starting ti come together
Lets hope we can turn Leicester over

It's been a while since I've seen highlights of us with several half-chances. Looks like we could have had a hatful today

They're on a real roll, but I'll bet they'll be tempted to play a few reserve players and with us at home we have a chance.

No idea who that Kelly is but she's tasty for an older bird and that was an impressive jive.

Is what I might say if I was watching strictly.

Tuesday night I said that I didn't think Elmo and Odabajo were not on the same wavelength, today I would like to say that they were awesome as were the whole team.
Great display all round. Considering how well Brum have performed this season, we really don't have anyone to fear in this league.

After the game Gary Rowett said we're the best side they've played this season.

Lots of highlights today but for me there were three that stood out.

Great to see McGregor do the vital one on one clearance and the great save early in the game, built the platform for the rest of the game.

Fab to see Odubajo playing confidently at right back, that's where he should be, balance of the team miles better when he's there. Loved his back heel in the second half, full of confidence.

And last but no means least Samuel Raymond Clucas. Taken the step up from division one in his stride at 25 years old, beginning to look a bargain at £1.3 million.

Disagree Chazz, it's little to do with the 'gel factor', it's all to do with Jake fortunately coming back, and looking once again like the expensive purchase he once was, Bruce finally running out of patience with Huddlestone, and Meyler more than taking his chance alongside Livermore.

The drive and passion from central midfield is what's been missing all along, we've now got it. The confidence will continue to build in all the other players, safe in the knowledge that our central midfield is no longer a negative waste of space that's constantly looking to slow the game down to suit their individual pace.

Weird eh, a few games ago you'd struggle to pick out one effective partnership on the pitch, Jake and Meyler came in an looked good partnership on Tuesday, today they looked better, and the difference that they've made showed in the fact that there were partnerships all over the pitch today.

Utter utter tosh and drivel this. They've played Reading who are wonderful marvelous and far far better than us. Plus the y have Mcshane etc etc uff uff uff
We are a team/club in crisis. Rudderless clueless owners, a manager with no idea no drive bereft tactically inept a defender who has no idea how to attack an assistant who no one knows what he does, players who want out who wont play for the manager. You get the picture.

but it is though LBIA. Beginning of the season Elmo looked so uncomfortable coming inside. He's always been a straight down the line up and down RB RWB RM. Its taken time but he's far more comfortable doing it now. Dave is overlapping and they played some brilliant one two's. That cross Dave put in and abel and Akpom both missed it was brilliant.
As ****lugs happy says. It does take time to gel no matter how good the players are.

Best performance this season for me, really enjoyed the game, and hard to pick a man of the match as there were several contenders. Jake ran himself into the ground and was excellent and probably edged it. Thought Moses looks assured and building a good partnership with Elmo, as Clucas is with Robertson.

    What bitterness?

It's a law of averages, Chazz, not to mention the team was bloody obvious as they won the last game; it had to be an improvement on your ****e 4-3-3. You got that Match Report ready yet? <doh>

I understand what you're saying Chazz but I still say that it's the central midfield that has made the big difference. If Huddlestone had been in midfield today I'd hazard an educated guess that Elmo and Dave would have looked their usual (previously) confused selves.

**** knows why it took Bruce so long to see how much Huddlestone was damaging our team, I'm still not convinced that he believes that's the case, but one thing's for certain, in the last two games...
