Jesus H Christ. We can't even beat the bottom team even when they have a player less than us. Yet another 1-1 scoreline and no goal from open play. So the feel good factor didn't last long...if it ever was there. I suppose it is all relative.
Looks like we are going to be scrapping away for points to avoid relegation for the majority of the season. I wanted us to sign Wood as there wasn't much else around and he was a big chunk of money, he was a gamble and it hasn't paid off. Same as last season and the one before that, team doesn't have enough goals in it. We said Ross kept us up a couple of seasons back, without his goals we would have went down. Yes he would have been replaced by another player but our front two are not and never will be prolific enough.
Don't know about your sunday league but 17th dont go down in the championship. Millwall start to get dizzy spells if they get to 17th.
