    You lot are idiots

He's played continuously for ages, including the Copa America

No end product? He's not supposed to have end product, he's supposed to get the ball to the player who has end product

Give him a couple of weeks off, put Henderson behind him and Sturridge in front of him and he'll look like the #worldclass player he is

I think once Firmino and/or Sturridge and/or Benteke are playing regularly we'll see a different Coutinho. He thrives with better players around him and what he's had up front for these first two games hasn't been the best so not brought the best out of him.

He was starting to show an understanding with Benteke before the latter was injured.
He knows Sturridge well enough, but when is he going to be fit? I've feared the worst for Sturridge for a long time now.

While I obviously hope he does indeed prpove better when are injured return. That very statement means he's not world class. A world class player brings up the level of the average players around him; he doesn't sink to their level.

While Coutinho continues to disappear when needed most I'll never consider him world class.

And if this form continues he'll be giving up his preferred spot to Lallana as Klopp is clearly impressed with his effort.

You're right he was showing an understanding with Benteke <ok> Games together is what makes the team stronger, it doesn't really need saying, it's obvious. That's why I like consistent pairings both in the forwards and the defence - develop understandings between you and you can work like a well oiled machine. Keep tinkering with the parts and you lose that fine tuning.

As for Sturridge, it's one thing after another. If he can't stay fit from now till Christmas, I reckon Klopp may be looking to off load which is a shame given how we know he can play when fit.

Coutinho is hard working to be fair and I agree to some extent with that his decision making needs to improve - however look at what's around him? Lallana, Benteke, Ings. He's surrounded by lesser players who simply aren't on his wavelength. And he doesn't trust them which is why he is trying to do everything himself (righty or wrongly).

It's like when Suarez first arrived - he was doing everything but seemed to mess up the final ball or shot.

Also, he is our talisman - which means there is more focus on him and teams are doubling up on him, combined with him playing further advanced which means he has even less
    Space to operate in.

Now matter how good he is he can't pass to someone who didn't make a run

#worldclass strikers don't need anyone else to do something right when they have the ball, #worldclass midfielders do

    Wuuuurrrlllldddd class <laugh>

Go give your head a ****ing wobble, there's no way he's even close to World Class at present, he's not even the best No. 10 on Merseyside this season ffs.

I don't think he's saying he is tbf mate. He's suggesting reasons why he isn't world class.

    Yeah.

People panicking because we cannot keep hold of decent players in recent years.

I take things a little less personally now.

Its down to Klopp and co to sort things now and keep the best players and buy new.

Coutinho is a quality player in fairness. Certainly the most dangerous for Liverpool at the moment imo, but he would be dangerous in any of the top 4 sides tbf.

Just one thing I hadn't seen though, he's had 51 shots on goal this season, scoring 1 goal. Not so much the conversion I'm criticising, but perhaps the decision making?

He's a very talented player, but for me he does the same thing too often, drifting across the line of the box trying to get a shot away.

I put that down to lack of options IMO. Once we sign better players in attack, there will be less focus on him and he'll have more trust in those around him. He's lost Suarez and Sterling, and Sturridge is out injured - now he has Benteke, Lallana, Ibe, Milner.
