Jeurgen Khrist has to wander around in the wilderness for 40 days and even he can't perform miracles on Average Joe, Origami or Firmino (he looks as brazilian as a hirsute german granny) <whistle>

We were toothless up front (as so often recently) but harsh to say the style was the same as under Rodgers, it really wasn't. We moved the ball much quicker out of defence especially first half and you can see the extra work rate already. Whether or not that's enough to make a big difference I very much doubt. He'll need to combine those things with trying to get the best out of Coutinho and trying to keep Studge fit. They are the only two I can see providing the ammunition and goals that we will need until JK has time to get some of his own players in. At the end of the day it's an average squad (not terrible, just not great either) the same as it was a month ago. Did I expect much different last night? Hoped maybe but I certainly didn't expect it. We've all seen most of these players for long enough to know roughly what level they are at. Klopp needs to squeeze more out of them for certain but I still don't think that's enough to turn us into some sort of Wunderteam

It's disappointing- seems like the same old stuff still.
However, the last 12 months or so have been like a toothache and I'm sure we were all hoping for some sort of miracle cure. It hasn't happened, but he's only had the players for just over a week, so let's not panic just yet, eh?

    Well anyway, Klopp out.....

Sakho was sound again, Migs did what he could and Firminho, whilst not looking anything like a £28m player yet, at least looked a step up from being Borini with go-faster stripes. The minuses though were that Clyne, who started well in August, seems to be going backward, Allen is pants and benteke.... well let's just hope he's rusty.

Let's hope the do a mini, Johnson's Paints Europy League for the third placed teams in the groups.

No. The reason you all say he looks like "Bambi on ice" is because none of you are inventive enough to come up with a novel insult of your own and are stuck with recycling the old stuff ad nauseam. <ok>
