    The lads on there do make a lot of sense mind, I know I'd hate it if we had friendlies mid-season, especially with our injury record.

    Hey guys, I'm the mod (affectionately known as a "King Stupidface" over there) of Sporting Kansas City's forum on BigSoccer. First of all, sorry I freaked out on you guys when you initially came over. It was like... an invasion of you guys. I got out the tin foil hat and had a good old freakout. Anywho, the few of you who have made it over so far seem pretty cool, so hopefully we can keep up the discussion.

    Concerning the reason this thread was created: yeah, a lot of us aren't really too excited for this game. We've been playing two games a week for six weeks straight now and our players are getting really exhausted. It would be nice to have a week off and just get some rest at this point. That's not a slight towards you guys at all, it's an honor to get a friendly against a club like Newcastle, it's just a really bad time of the season to get a friendly in.

    Um, just a shot in the dark here, but, maybe could you guys not troll the bejesus out of us tomorrow after we lose? It'd make my job a lot less sucky.
