Unusual bet for me (all odds PP)
Carlisle 3.25 Hadfield 7/4 and Shear Rock 2/1
Chelmsford 6.55 Natural Nine 2/1 and Best Example 15/8

    4 win doubles
Assuming one winner from each race:
    Worst return: 7.91
    best return: 9.00

Approx even money for the double

53 miles with 7500 feet of climb mostly off-road. 8 hours would put you in the top 10 last year. Assuming you're not a mountain goat anything within the 15 hour cut off would be some achievement. I'll go for 14 hours. Good luck

14 hours would be a fantastic effort. I think I've seen this event on the Adventure Show. It looked bloody tough. Stick/Oddy are on another planet. The course record is only a shade over 7 hours <laugh>

If you have trained for it Gaz, I'll go for 13 hours 45 mins. Overwise I'll go for 14 hours 45 mins.

    Please don't die.

Sorry guys didnt want to create such a cafuffle!! I desperately wish ti do sub10hrs! However I have been
advised its purely a warm up for the fullrun! So unlike Monday Im not jockey dependant so will just go "Forrest"
style! HOWEVER should someone wish me to create a justgiving with a charity to benefit I am not beyond
this!!! For me its fun but for a chariteeeee.........................................

    Good Morning

Can someone solve a puzzle in the 4.25 Carlise for me please. Nicky Richards won this race last year, with Brian Harding in the saddle. This year Richards has Crinkle crags entered, but with Craig Nichol riding. Last years jockey is riding for Rose Dobbin's Mac n Cheese, yet Nichol is Dobbin's usual rider, and Harding is Richards normal jockey. Why the switch? I'm probably looking for something that isn't there, and in the end I'll bet on Dutch Canyon :)
