It would have been a billion times better had we had this in the build up:

I was in East Stand and I didn't know it was supposed to happen, but I guessed they were testing the new lights, but when they came on full for the game, very impressive. I recall how poor the lights were at Accrington

I missed it. Was running late then needed a slash before kick-off.

    What happened?

Was some underwhelming flashing before 2nd half.

I thought it was quite good, added a bit of atmosphere to the proceedings.

    I liked it.

Maybe a song rather than the heartbeat thudding though could be an option.

Still hate the "good afternoon South Stand" crap. I refuse to join in with it :p

Whether it was a bit gay or not they need to add some latency to the audio signal it was reaching our ears about half a second before the lights flashed.

I like them toned down when the games not in play. And ****ing bright when they were on properly. Not sure about the flashing, it's a bit gay. Probably be better with some atmosphere. I think the players should come out one at a time and jump through burning hoops or headbutt slabs of concrete etc would add a bit of edge to it.

Not sure why you were sworn to secrecy when we posted the link to this video on the official website in April.....

Not sure what the secret is, as LED are instantly bright unlike the old ones, and can be linked to audio by plenty of bog standard algorithms, or just generally messed with like any standard pop concert.
I thought it was great, and I had a huge smile on my face when I walked in. It even added some racy shizzle to the stand introductions...

Then again, the novelty will wear off.

I thought we had coloured ones in there as well? Or is that an upgrade?

I liked it and even when it becomes normal it's still a great effect.

Reminded me of a scene in the film Coyote ugly, when they flash all the bridge lights.

Presumably, it was so we could do a big reveal like last night.

Either that or we were worried that we couldn't get them to work. <laugh>

In fact, these lights are a Premier League requirement now and all clubs in the Premier League (or clubs who aspire to be in the Premier League) will have the same system.

First impression was I liked it, hopefully they'll keep developing/trying new routines and not just stop at the heart beat.
