I'm not knocking him. I think there's plenty of room for improvement is all. I wouldn't consider selling him or any of our players tbf. I don't think a couple of million profit is worth the £100mill+ prize if we're promoted

I really don't think that's true, players are judged on how they perform, not how old they are.

He's also played 120 first team games and 8 internationals, it's not like he's just broken through.

Fair enough, but a bad player all of a sudden or just off form.

He doesn't read the game very well for me, also he doesn't time his dashes up the pitch too well a lot of the time and as that's his main attribute it doesn't help, costs us possession and puts us on the back foot.

I agree in principle, he should continue playing in the development team as he has has lots of opportunity to show us what he has in the bag - he might of more next season, so play him next season. I love his storming runs, but we could get Fatima Whitbread to do that, we need a full back or a winger with pace, crossing ability and finish. We let them all go.

You do mean Andy Dywer, don't you. He might have a future in shoe-shine. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Where would you start him? Not at LB surely. We'd be 4 down by half time

Maybe just not as good as a lot of folk thought/hoped he was.

LWB with Bruce added to the centre backs, and either Elmo or Dave benched. It's simple but Bruce won't do it as he clearly doesn't want to drop either.
