Good Luck with Squire Guy's, I do like the jockey booking, right man for the job me thinks. It appears that Rab has good prospects of riding a double Ponty! Enjoy the day & Stay Lucky
Cheers Attivo, Rab claimed by his boss so don't read too much into it. We like our boy tomorrow as we firmly believe there is still more to come. The 3yo's could of course be anything so we may get well and truly mugged but we know Squire is in great shape and delivered at the right time will not be far away!
Good luck stick, hope he wins for you and like your good self I'm worried that one of the unexposed types will be well handicapped
LATENIGHTREQUEST 3.10 Pontefract 11/1 I know I know, not for the first time am I putting this one up but trust me.......it will be winning soon and I think it will be tomorrow!
Completely agree Stick!!! Down in grade, stable jock on and money already coming in!!! If theres gonna be a day it wont have many better opputunities than tomorrow
Good luck tomorrow Stick - it's clearly as you have called it already in that Squire will have a good chance of going very close on form but the Godolphin, Stoute and Johnston horses could be anything. I think we may know more by the time the market begins to properly form in the morning. I hope MA will give Pat Cosgrove thorough instructions as your lad is a very particular ride in my opinion, get him to the front well before you think you need and see if they can get past. The trainer should basically say I do not mind if you come back having got beat but please make sure you have done all you can to get his head in front at some point and as soon as you can within the last two furlongs. Good luck.
Forgot to mention Oddy when you off crook that Carry On Abroad was screening on more 4 with Sid James playing Vic Flange . Bisto..the north spanish/basque are very sarcastic in their humour, clever, but the southeners are ****ing hilarious.
Good luck Stick. I hope Petrucci doesn't turn out to be the fly in the ointment as he's being trained as if he's got a lot to give.
Vic Flange ....................... going to have to google all the Sid James characters now, I bet there are some belters
good luck today with squire stick/don hope he comes back safe and well firstly and to cap it off he wins or at least gets in the money for you

Morning, you types. Hope everyone well. Today is a day of reflection, pilgrims, as it commemorates the anniversary of one of the training performances of our age. In ’12 Mr Henderson, God bless him and save him, won the £10,000 17 furlong conditions heat at Pointy with the unraced, on the level, Lieutenant Miller beating in the process animals rated in the 100’s. It remains an absolutely astounding accomplishment by the greatest man ever to train a racehorse. Meanwhile, interesting betting market in Squire’s race aint it, troops?!? It seems to be prefering the ‘up and coming’ brigade far more than those with established form. Still you pays your money and you makes your choice. Good luck today, lads and, of course, all the best, old boy, Squire.
I thought you might have given us one in the lucky last at Plumpton Sir Barney, given the name of the race and the fond memories it evokes? No?
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmn, what a terrible name for a race by the way. I see him and J.P. were on a date at Ascot on Saturday. I think forumites may very shortly need to buy a new hat.
All the very best for Squire today The Don & Stick - hope he does you proud again and comes back safe and sound. Do you guys think he might jump a hurdle one day? Become one of those "dual code" horses? Plenty of Teofilo offspring in the NH scene ................. I notice he has a half brother by Authorized called Certification who won a Juvenile hurdle for John Ferguson before running in the Fred Winter
Is the ground not gone against Squire today lads? Far from me to say but any soft in the going would be a negative for the beast?
The going will be somewhere between good and good to soft which is absolutely fine for him. He is drifting alarmingly but he doesn't know that! He has only not run on soft ground because he had a breathing op at the start of the year and following that procedure the trainer feels we should avoid soft ground. Hurdles eh odddy, I think he would be brilliant as he cruises through his races. A decision we will have to make toward the third quarter of next year.
