Next week sees the season 10 games in, the three promoted teams have all done ok until this weekend, Norwich concede 6, Watford 3 at home and Bournemouth 5. Are they been sussed out and the early promise beginning too fade, none of them have managed to amass any points that would give them some leeway should they start a run when they ship lots of goals like this, weekend and confidence falls away.
I know we need to start winning like the Mags did today and next Sunday would be a good start, but as things stand I feel a lot happier about our prospects of staying up, I've said all season we would finish 15th and still think we will comfortably.

Big Sam will bore you guys to safety, villa and Bournemouth look set to struggle and I originally thought Norwich will be okay but looking at the fact they ain't played any of the top teams so far I now feel they could struggle.
Fcuk knows if we will stay up but today covered the cracks over for now.

Bournemouth have been a little undone by the amount of injuries, Watford early graft looks a little lightweight & Norwich just don't have enough firepower when it matters. Still going to be a good fight, but the newbies are going to struggle.

I'm thinking along same lines we always get into sticky positions - keeps us on our toes with no nails & little hair - rollercoaster ride - Big Sam will sort our defensive probs , confidence levels increased then the goals will flow - we just need to get behind the team & club - no criticism or doubt - all club are focused on success despite what some fans may (emotionally?) say - we are Sunderland

Even if we just keep in touch until mid season I will feel fairly confident about our chances of staying up. We have a decent base for Big Sam to work with, a few tweaks here and there, and we will start to climb the table. We may yet have three teams in the top flight next season, I certainly hope so as it would be great for the region.

If messi, a 250m player, is out of contract and signed on a 350k a week deal is that not good business? If you pay a tiny transfer fee then wages are taken up by that budget regardless and the spending isn't exactly astronomical relatively speaking.

Still think the three teams to be relegated will be Norwich, Watford and Bournemouth. It's a big ask for these teams to stay up over 38 games. You can see how quickly it can change such as Bournemouth....scoring goals for fun then Callum Wilson gets injured. Sunderland will be ok but might be 'squeaky bum' time for a while.....

Our aim should be to finish above all three, regardless of which other teams struggle. We've given them a 5 to 7 point head start, but we should be able to reel that in.

Dont wanna say it. But this is the season our luck runs out.

Look at the fixtures we have had so far. Then look at the up coming ones especially in december.

How do we turn it around for a fighting chance? Fu k knows.

I think Watford will be fine as they seem to be able to score with Igahlo and Deeney up top.

Bournemouth will go and Norwich. Rest is a lottery between us, Mags, WBA & Villa.
