That's a terrible decision. Never a deliberate knock on!! There have been some very poor TMO reviews in this WC. That's ****ed Scotland!!
Get in there, another great steal and Aussies are giving it away. Biggest five minutes in Scotland's rugby history...
Full credit to the Scots - great effort that puts England's poor display against the Aussies into perspective.
Scotland the brave did us proud........least fancied but put up a great fight.... Feel real sorry for Scotland, Wales and Ireland (who lost too many leaders) France you were pathetic!!!! Shame.....No Northern Hemisphere teams left I will support the team playing in (sort of) hoops Come on you Pumas
So, yet again, the Southern Hemisphere sides get the big decisions. Always seems to be the case. That wasn't a knock on as it came off an Aussie. Why the **** didn't the ref go to the TMO for such a huge decision? Absolute heartbreak for the Scots after such a fantastic display. Jammy Aussies!!
I really think the Argies could take out the Aussies, they've improved every game and after being the whipping boys of the expanded Tri-Nations for the past few years they've come of age this year with some tremendous young players benefitting from the serious competition they get every year. Two intriguing matches to look forward to next week...
Rugby is a game of two halves Betty....................................................................................the northern half and the southern half
Both of today's results were deeply disappointing for different reasons. The tournament still retains it's drama and intrigue though. I thought I'd share this photo which sums up not only this world cup, but the level of sportsmanship in rugby in general. It needs no words ... please log in to view this image
Missed both games on plane, though I did manage to watch an excellent documentary tracking the careers of Wilkinson, Johnson and Woodward through the professionalisation of rugby, which I had forgotten was so recent. A pretty strong message was that the Southern Hemisphere teams have ALWAYS been better. England's 2003 win was the exception that proves the rule. Sounds like a stunning effort by the Scots and no gas left in the tank for Ireland. Hard lines for both.
