I just love Autumn and the colours. These trees are in mine and my neighbours gardens.

    We called my Grandad spiderman.

He didn't have any special powers, he just struggled to get out of the bath.

I had a slice of toffee cake at the hockey club yesterday. I was disappointed as in the cabinet light it looked like carrot cake. I ordered carrot cake and they said no it's toffee cake. Wife had coffee and walnut which was nicer :(

Went for a huge cycle ride today with the Ramblers. Then an evening meal later in Winchester. I had the cheesecake with extra cream for my dessert. Very naughty, but I don't care.

Anyway, I'll watch it tomorrow night on ITV4. And yes, I understand it was another cracker. Phillip Island is usually good.

Had a lovely piece of homemade carrot cake from the Nadurra Visitor Centre, Ardnamurchan. We asked if we could have some to take away expecting it to be just put in a bag or something but they put it in a container with little forks and serviettes. Very impressed. It was delicious :)

Carrot cake and homemade cherry and choc chip cake for me. The only problem with homemade cherry and choc chip cake is I can eat the whole cake when it is still warm.

I can't eat ice cream or drink milkshakes etc as I am lactose intolerant. So I know your pain of missing out on something nice.

They've ruined cake for me since a lot of places put the calories next to it....M and S Carrot cake for example is about 700 cal....the highest calorific value of all their cakes. Victoria sandwich is practically a diet food next to that :)
