Big Sam knows what he is doing. he has evaluated their team and then put a team in from us that will be solid, not give much away and try and knick a goal away from home. A boring 0-0 would not be the end of the world when you look at our current position. 1-0 to us with a goal from Gomez or Larsson. As for pace with Lens suspended and PVA a liability where was the pace going to come from? he has played Yedin who is quick.
Decent half. Like the way Sam has instantly installed a no mess safety attitude on O'Shea and Kaboul. Gomez looking decent but still taking an age to make his decision. We are playing well, good possession, Jones is having a decent game at RB which has surprised me, even Fletch looks like he might be interested. We really need a goal quickly, if we get that we will go on and win the game. I like the way we are playing, possession football, nothing silly, keep the ball, don't take too many risks.
