Big Sam knows what he is doing. he has evaluated their team and then put a team in from us that will be solid, not give much away and try and knick a goal away from home. A boring 0-0 would not be the end of the world when you look at our current position.

1-0 to us with a goal from Gomez or Larsson.

As for pace with Lens suspended and PVA a liability where was the pace going to come from? he has played Yedin who is quick.

Decent half. Like the way Sam has instantly installed a no mess safety attitude on O'Shea and Kaboul. Gomez looking decent but still taking an age to make his decision. Shouldn't be anywhere near corners either but Sam will quickly realise that as it's an important role in his teams. McClean is ****e, Sess looking decent.

The ref. Well Dawson should have gone for two yellows, another three WBA players should have been booked and Catts too. All were cynical fouls designed to stop an attack while caught disorganised. All stone wall yellows. Ref is having a poor game imo.

We are playing well, good possession, Jones is having a decent game at RB which has surprised me, even Fletch looks like he might be interested.

We really need a goal quickly, if we get that we will go on and win the game.

I like the way we are playing, possession football, nothing silly, keep the ball, don't take too many risks.

Boring as hell 0-0, we should have been at them in the first half.

    1-0 WBA.

Can't decide whether that's a foul or not.

Can we recall Pickford in January?

Thats 2 mistakes that have cost us 2 goals from Pants, and its not like Mannone has done any better

If pants has the ball in two hands and the opposition Akers hand pushed it out it's a foul or handball. But against Sunderland it's a goal

It's also rolled down Berahino's arm ffs.

If it wasn't for bad luck we'd have no ****ing luck.

Haha!! Maybe but that is a foul on any day of any week against us! Connor Wickham got booked for less against the mags last season or the season before!

As for Pickford - not a chance. He's played at third tier at his highest and u21's - nowhere near ready for top league games

Pantilimon also had the ball in 2 hands on the floor by the looks of it.
