He has a swollen knee and will be getting a late fitness test apparently. They reckon he'll be on the bench, if he's available at all.
Our only option unfortunately, and he looked way too green to be leading the line for us against Sion. Had some good moments but awful in front of goal.
Poor old Nobby's going to wonder what he's let himself in for. He's already a bit taken aback by the press intrusion in this country, and now he's only got about 3 players left for his first game.
Origi just looks a bit raw to me. Shows promise, but I'm hoping he's not another one who puts in a shift but can't hit a barn door. We really need some clinical finishers.
The good thing is that we won't really miss him (Sturridge). Because with or without him we are still awful.
At least he's had a chance to watch more of the youth lads this week than the first team....may need them all
