Off Topic Fry To Leave QI

Decides on letter M to leave QI,
What can I say, it just won´t be the same
Irrespective of a great Danish name,
Taking his seat and refilling his shoes
She´ll have a job on to fill all the pews.

I assume from your message Sandy Toksvig is taking over. It would be worse if Merton were to leave, I cannot imagine anyone capable of replacing him.

 

Merton is HIGNFY, Alan Davis is QI.

 

Saw this yesterday and I'm still trying to come to terms with it!

Worst part of it is, that he´s getting out just before the letter N, where, knowing him, he would almost certainly have contrived to have had a whole programme dedicated to NCFC

I used to think she was quite funny many years back when she used to appear on whose line is it any way (Loved that show!) none the less there were always funnier folk on there and I haven't liked her in anything since. It does smack of a bit of positive discrimination again. We must have more women on the box, even to the detriment of the shows? I can think of a number of potentially better candidates both male and female, but we'll see how it goes?
