in South Manchester/Stockport/Macclesfield a pub will be showing the derby game on 20th August. Its my stag do and if its not on anywhere its a disaster!

Where abouts good south man? Didsbury? Give me a bit more info so I can question the locals. I understand the seriousness so will resort to waterboarding if necessary!
City fan here, just scouting around the boards since ours is quieter than Old Trafford in a vacuum at the minute. I think the Friendship Inn in Fallowfield would be a good bet for watching your derby, they always show our games whether they're on Sky or not and yours will surely be the most attractive fixture that weekend. Never really go to Didsbury but they have some decent bars for sport there I'm told, so it'd be worth checking that out. Like PrisonBroken said it might be a good idea to ask on our board, wouldn't bother posting on the Salford United board for obvious reasons though.
You should be ashamed of yourself, having a stag do that weekend, I can just about understand it if the wedding was all arranged etc.., but surely a stag do can be cancelled for such an important game, come on , lift your game mate , get your priorities right.
Try Coach and Horses in Irlam bit out of the way but it did have Albanian Sky at the end of last season.

Cheers for that mate. We were going to Macclesfield but plans may change depending on where we can watch the footy. I dont get out anymore so have no idea which pubs show the dodgy channels.
give the places a call mate, its early doors so you wont be causing any bother, its a stag do so there will be a good amount of you having a good start to the day, will be a nice little earner for the manager / owner, tell them if they can guarentee to show the match then their bar will be where you start for at least a couple of hours. 12 o'clock game so there wont be much comeptition for which game to show anyway
