Star Wars is ****ing ****e. The films, the plot, the games, all of it - absolute ****ing ****e. Game of the moment is, of course, MGSV. Next big game will be Rainbow 6: Siege. Anyone who dislikes gaming is either a vegan ****ter with AIDS (ST) or a depressed, unemployed divorcee (ER).
Video games are for: a) Kids b) Virgins c) Blokes who've been in relationships so long they've stopped having sex and have to take out their frustration by blowing **** up in stupid games designed by virgins for dickheads. There's yer choices. Now, **** off.
I don't play video games. It's not because I don't qualify for (a), (b) or (c) in your list. It's because of personal choice. I realise that the 'expression' in your post is your personal choice - and whilst it could have been a little less unkind, it can almost be excused - but your signature oversteps the mark of human decency in its' lack of compassion for those tragically killed. You are entitled to your personal opinion about Muslims, or followers of any other religion, ( and it may be likely that I share some of your thoughts ) - but - death is not a laughing matter. Surely you must have some pity for the innocent victims - even if the circumstances of their death was a little crazy ? It didn't need for you to 'celebrate' the occasion by creating such a disgusting memorial.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34513096 Why did I post the above link ? - because, regrettably, I'm expecting backlash (no pun intended ), for my post ,(No.25). I am totally against the 'extreme' and excessive punishment by Saudia Arabia - but it doesn't mean that the tragic death of Muslims during their religious pilgrimage is some sort of payback for the barbarism used by their 'authorities.' The 'punishment' in this incident is no less wrong than the actions of radical Muslims who commit murder by blowing up or beheading innocent victims. But - it is not right to mock the death of innocent Muslims. Such reaction only serves to show what is wrong in this World - where it seems that one lot of people are happy to make a mistake to counter a mistake made against it by another lot of people - without anyone stopping to think that all that has happened is that there are now two mistakes to put right.
Beautifully put @alwaysright . Sadly though, on GC, you will be villified, mocked, and roundly abused for having such sensible opinions. GC is now populated by depressed and unemployed pensioners, war criminals, Protestant bigots, violently homosexual political activists, and aggressive Nigels intent on spreading their nationalistic fear. Prepare for the backlash, @alwaysright , for they are in fear of logic, reason, and someone talking sense.
So far I have managed to avoid having my farter burst - both physically and metaphorically. I have become accustomed to talking to all of the types of people whom you describe in post No28. They know that I'm alwaysright - but what is sad is that, all too often they inflict misery upon themselves and others for far too long, before returning to me and confess their mistakes. It gives me no satisfaction - partly because, in order to accomodate their stupidity, I have needed to make concessions that have not sat well with me. At the same time, 'they' have created problems for themselves in their lives due to their lack of common sense. If they had displayed common sense from the outset, everyone could have enjoyed a better life.
Honestly, not sure how you do it. Patience of a saint, my good friend. All i know is that this place needs you. Please continue to fight the good fight
I spend hours playing video games because my girlfriend won't bring me food and drink. It's a self fulfilling stand off ha
In my world it is better to 'wallop' people with common sense than to resort to aggression as a first ( and only ) option. edit - No - I'm not a pacifist per se, but, as I have previously stated, violence only breeds violence and two wrongs only create two mistakes to rectify.
I don't mind sensible opinion as long it's done in a sensible manner. Long boring diatribes is not a sensible manner and Jiffy should be ashamed of himself for encouraging the tedious ****. That is all.
I will tell a child not to play with fire - "because it will hurt you." I do not 'bore it' with graphic details of disfigurment, permanent scarring and any psychological trauma it may face for the rest of their lives. --- because the child may not 'understand' my logic. I do give 'adults' the credit to have the stamina to be able to read a few lines of text in which I try to speak in sensible terms on important issues. I try to elaborate on my thinking - rather than calling dissenters a 'walloper' or '****' etc, whilst choosing to bury your head in the sand on issues that should attract our attention and common sense reaction - otherwise we are just adding to the problems in this world. <sorrytoboreyouagain>
