Since DA left I've not seen any of the players commenting in the press about how sorry they were to lose his services nor any comments about the new gaffer. May well have missed this in the press and apologies if I have, but find it strange the club captain has had nothing nice to say about Dick. Anybody put me right?.

Club captain has been away with Ireland since it happened so can;t have had anything to say really cumbrian. There has been nothing from any player during the international break so not really an issue. There's no way that anyone will have a bad word for Dick mind - gentleman and honest as well - many would've walked away laying blame with people - he simply walked away saying he didn't have the stomach for a relegation battle as he's never been in that situation before. Truly a gent and will be missed. I would've liked to see him turn it around (I think he would have personally)

Difficult to think of what they can say. "Sorry we`re ****e and seen off another manager"?

doesn't matter how obvious it is - they'd never admit to being ****e.

They don't need to admit it, its hardly a state secret.

It'll be more a case of Big Sam walking in and saying to them "so which of you DON'T think you're ****e"?

Probably because we've had no matches and the press are on lock out from non match related interviews

Maybe a new approach from big Sam. Telling them to shut the f*ck up and do your talking on the pitch.

Funk, you've mentioned this press lock out on another thread but what brought this ban about, I've seen the BBC just giving us basic quotes and not filling out articles, who have they upset at the club. Any info would be appreciated.

There's been nowt official from the club mate. But as you say, you're noticing the lack of coverage from media outlet and on twitter Journos from numerous rags are bemoaning the lack of access, apparently we didn't give press access for a single signing, the only club to do so, next was the mags who only allowed the Mirror(their media partners).

The Media have tortured us with mindless nasty speculation this season. Can't help but feel it's as a result of the restricted access. Apart from contractual obligations we're giving them nowt. It's all coming through our website. But the way fans have played into the media's hands with panic the Media will be feeling right pleased with themselves. Their lash out has had the desired effect and you can bet they're waiting with bated breath for the next 'crisis' to blow up.

Nowt happening here for them to comment on now, so they have turned to Villa and connected Rodgers to them.

Thanks for that Funk, we just need to win our next two games to get them off our back and as Nostalgic says they will find somebody else to play with and Mr Sherwood is a perfect target, what a tool he is.
