Aye at least 2 big losses definitely mate but just enjoying todays win. O'Connell out with a torn hamstring apparently, not sure how serious Sexton's groin injury is. I'm sure you'll be cheering us on in the next round anyway old boy!
Watched that race myself, he just doesn't finish his races out, despite supposedly having had a breathing op (at least one). It's rare to say you've had a novice beat twice in the same race 2 years running but that's the unwelcome tag Emerging Talentless has now obtained. Nicholls horses about 60% fit I'd say.
I think a horse also lost the same novice hurdle race two years running at 1/4 and 1/3 if my memory serves me right I'm sure Mr Chuckles can confirm as he was with Mr Henderson I believe
All the way now fella though I have to say the Aussies look different gravy to everyone else, even the Kiwis!
Was having the same convo about half hour ago with my dad- the Aussies look something else and not even in to sixth gear yet they will be very hard to beat ! Even for the kiwis as u say - it's their pack they hve won them thier games
They are like a pack of hyenas at the breakdown and are just so resilient in defence. That 13 man ten minutes against Wales was simply mind blowing!
West wizard, was annoying me all night that I couldn't think of the name. Should have popped on here and seen your clue
After one of West Wizard’s Kempton Park novice defeats old boy Hendo came out with the classic line, ‘I’m not surprised he didn’t win. He was only 5% fit’. In fairness to West Wizard though the 2 horses who beat him are both now rated in the mid 140’s over hurdles so both races, at Kempton Park, were miles above average. West Wizard is now a winner though over sticks and I would imagine Mr Henderson, the forum’s favourite trainer, is quite looking forward to exploiting his rather lenient looking perch of 129 this term.
