Prediction Division 1 + Division 2

    We are now moving quickly towards the new season, so I think it is time to get the prediction leagues sorted, so we are ready for the season. The plan is to have two 16 team leagues, with promotion and relegation between the divisions, at the end of the season. Division 1 will be all the people who got through to the 'Champions League' stage of last season's competition, with Division 2 containing all the 'Europa League' competitors, plus a few new players, to replace last year's no shows.

    Also this season there will be an FA Cup and a League Cup, which will contain all the predictors.

    So, here are the lists for next year's divisions. The fixtures will be out tomorrow.

    Brilliant work TOON_LEWIS. I love these prediction leagues and as long as I finish above Jimileysbaldhead as revenge for my semi-final exit, I'll be happy!

    I predict a blistering start for myself then a slow burn out as I drift aimlessly towards relegation only for last day salvation.

    Looking forward to taking part in this year’s leagues for the first time. Could someone let me know how it works though as having not done it before am not sure how it works. It would be greatly appreciated. As long as I don’t end up last I will be happy

    WillDorsetToon - Each week we'll put the real fixtures up and you'll predict home, away or draw. That will earn you 1 'goal' and that goes towards the final score that week. You'll play someone different each week, like in the real leagues, and if you score more 'goals' than your opponent, you get 3 points, if you get the same, 1 point and if you get less, 0 points, like a real football match.

    haven't seen Wein14 for ages so don't know if he'll be a no show or not looking forward to this always a good laugh

    hoping for promotion and a good cup run oh yeah and stuffing Coloccini - el Capitano both home and away (gotta get a rivalry in from the start)

    I'm sorting out fixture lists now. Also, thinking of the cups, what does everyone want different in the League Cup than in the FA Cup? Or do people want them the same?
