I think some perspective is required.

Who says the German's have o sense of humour.....hundreds of people are following Klopp's flight on a flight tracker, so his pilot flew straight past Liverpool Airport just to wind them up. <laugh>

    On competing against Bayern Munich
“Go through the world and find me a team who can finish as champions in the same league as Bayern. If we should finish second this summer, I’ll find a truck and drive it through my garden. If nobody will rejoice, I’ll do it alone.

“We have a bow and arrow and if we aim well, we can hit the target. The problem is that Bayern has a bazooka. The probability that they will hit the target is clearly higher. But then Robin Hood was apparently quite successful.”

On Mats Hummels’ continuous injury problems
“We will wait for him like a good wife waiting for her husband who is in jail.”

    On victory at Bayern Munich
“When Dortmund last won here 19 years ago, most of my players were still being breast-fed.”

    On signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan
“Mkhitaryan fits us like an arse on a bucket. What he offers is exactly what we need.”

On the difference between himself and Arsène Wenger
“He likes having the ball, playing football, passes. It’s like an orchestra. But it’s a silent song. But I like heavy metal more. I always want it loud.”

    On dealing with defeat
“When I gave the first interview, I was very disappointed. After the second one 10 minutes later, I was feeling better. In 30 minutes, I’ll probably feel like we won the match.”

    On being sent off
“I’m a bit proud of my first red card as coach. I approached the fourth official and said: ‘How many mistakes are allowed here? If it is 15, you have one more.’”

When asked by a Schalke fan what the secret is to winning the Bundesliga
“How do you explain to a blind person what colour is?”

On motivating his team after a poor first-half performance
“I told my players during the interval: ‘Since we’re here anyway, we might actually play a bit of football.’”

    His own perspective on football
“It’s very emotional, very fast, very strong, not boring, no chess. Of course tactical, but tactical with big heart. Tactical things are so important, you cannot win without tactics, but the emotion makes the difference. Life in our game, that’s important.”

On creating a style of football at Borussia
“The fans should not only recognise us by our black and yellow jerseys. Even if we play in red, everyone in the stadium should think: ‘Whoa, that can only be BVB.’”

    On Barcelona’s tiki-taka style
“It is not my sport. I don’t like winning with 80% [possession]. Sorry that is not enough for me. Fighting football, not serenity football, that is what I like. What we call in German ‘English’ — rainy day, heavy pitch, 5-5, everybody is dirty in the face and goes home and cannot play for weeks after.”

    On his hair transplant
“Yes, it’s true. I underwent a hair transplant. And I think the results are really cool, don’t you?”

If Klopp is still in charge in 12 months time THEN ready yourself to be surprised.

He certainly has some talent to work with but needs somelike Hummels in January 2016 imo.
Maybe Cup success this season is possible. ?

As I've posted before, Klopp and Liverpool will either be a marriage made in heaven or a train wreck. twt as always.

Those two quotes pretty much sum up why I want him to be England manager.

As a neutral I'm really looking forward to seeing him manage in the PL. It'll be interesting to see if he is as good as his record suggests - and I'm looking forward to seeing 'heavy metal football' and whether that can break up what has become a fairly established top 4.

Great press conference from Klopp, he just described himself as 'The Normal One'.

He started off by apologising for his poor English, before going on to speak better English than most English managers.

"If anyone wants to help Liverpool, they have to change from doubter to believer. Stop thinking about money. Only football."

"I am not a genius, I don't know more than the rest of the world"

"I am a really lucky guy, this is a really good moment for me"

"History is only the base for us. You can't carry it in your backpack every day."

A cracking press conference from Jurgen Klopp and for sure his has much talent to work with.

Once the injuries clear up Liverpool can make the top 4 especially with Chelsea struggling atm.

The football style will be interesting. Don't back against Liverpool for a cup this season.

Europa League maybe ? twt as always.

Klopp is the perfect choice for Liverpool....players and supporters. If he can get Liverpool playing Borussia Dortmund type football they will be the antithesis of the Arsenal/Chelsea style and be back challenging for the top. Will be interesting to see how quickly he can put his mark on their performances. Looking forward to some "heavy metal play"!!!!

I think he'll do well for them, and he is likeable.

Doubt he'll win a title though.
