1 Did Congerton have the funding to make the six major signings that Dick referred to. 2 Why only three quality signings, do you really think that was good enough.

With respect pops, I think both questions are non-starters. Niall Quinn, Steve Bruce, Martin O'Neill, Paolo di Canio, and Gus Poyet were all top rated PL players, most of them internationals, and two of his choices - O'Neill and Advocaat - were internationally renowned managers. So the people Short employed to run the football side of it in his absence knew just a little bit more than you're giving them credit for I think. The managerial choices he's made were only bad in hindsight. Bruce, O'Neill, Poyet and Advocaat had all done well at previous clubs, and were pretty much welcomed with open arms when they came. The other staff aren't worth discussing because they don't win or lose points. They're just a distraction. What would I ask him? - I'm not so sure I would - apart from maybe can I have a nice paying job sir? I'd much prefer to talk to the new signings, and ask about their impressions of the club, and in particular, who is doing the big talking in the dressing room?

On a serious note: 1) What is your end game or aim for Sunderland A.F.C and why? 2) If you could pick one person to manage SAFC, who would it be?
Where do you see safc in a year, 2 years, 5, 10 years from now? How, and be realistic, are you going to achieve this? I assume q1 isnt to close the club and sell the AOL and all for housing development of cracking or something. In whci case q2 would be quite straight forward.
