Although I know what you mean, I feel you're drifting towards judging someone based on his team's achievements, which can be harsh. By that criterion Neville Southall could never be ranked up there when at his peak.

Maybe so. I loved Southall he was a great goalie, seem to remember he was notorious for his clock collection, there's something not many people will remember!

Yeah i had him last week only 10 points

Rooney and Ings have both been ruled out of tomorrow's game.

I can't make my mind up if I can be arsed to go or not.

I reckon he'll go with this:

    Hart
    Clyne Smalling Cahill Gibbs
    Carrick Milner*
    Sterling Barkley Ox
    Kane

(Poss Shelvey for one of those if he's fit enough)

Yet again Woy is without his favoured midfield trio.

Think we would of won WC 98 if Beckham didn't lose his rag.

Well even with Rooney and Ings out England can still put out a side that will be far too good for Estonia.

Walcott - Kane - Vardy as a front 3 looks good to me now.

Loyal? The ones who go are yes but in general England fans are pathetically fickle.

That's what happens when your team appears to play with no passion or determination.

    don't they though?

where is your evidence of it?

why would players go to a tournament and not play with passion or determination

I take it you've not watched England in one since 2006

Lack of passion & pride has become the norm.

Think with the players belieiving their own hype for so long hasn't helped. Teams relished playing against us and we didn't recipricate that. Then they get the stuffing knocked out of them by losing on panlties or not qualifying. The Rooney camera incident in 2010, also the 4-1 thrashing by Germany, it's taken it's toll.

Also Mismanagement. Sven, Mclaren, Cappelo, Roy all have had shockers at times whilst England manager.
