.. always thought he was a good player for us and then there was the t-shirt incident and bye bye.

He's been strongly linked with the Doncaster job.

Would anyone want him in charge at SAFC ?

A failure a championship level... Why even ask the question? If there's anyone here who wants him they're a ****. Not because of the way he left us but because he's a **** manager.

I bet Monty would say yes. Him or ancelotti anyway.

    He won't now of course.

He`s failed at every level but what`s that got to do with it?

Doesn`t change the fact that Clark is useless.

I agree and to be honest the Lee Clark question was intended to be 'tongue in cheek' but don't you think success in football is mostly about timing ?

What I mean is if you get the right ingredients for a team, by team I mean from very top to very bottom then you could have one of those once in a football lifetime periods like we had with Reidy ?

We could end up with a young manager who hasn't achieved a great deal but just clicks with the players, clicks with the owner and pushes a couple of young stars into the 1st team who then flourish and lift the whole team and the fans e.g. Watmore and Gooch.

    Just a thought

ok, so I think it's fair to say that Lee Clark would not be a popular appointment.

I think it would be a good appointment, he knows the north east, he has played for us as well and we know he is passionate, why not give the lad a chance?

Cmon! He wore his true colours when he put on that t shirt and he'd have to burn a mag shirt at the stadium of light pitch for the fans to have any trust in him........and even then? He's a mag, it ain't going to happen, it would never ever work, move on. As Billy put it so well, he's ****e anyway

And he's failing now at a bigger problem club. Much like ourselves. He's a **** manager too. I'd be surprised if any of us wanted him.

The difference is that Shteve has perceived managing/coaching pedigree due to the good work he did at united, twente and Boro I guess.

Clark has failed everywhere he's been. No premier league club with anything about them would give him a go.

Because he's **** and has proven himself to be ****.

Why not give John Carver a chance then? He knows the north east.

Nyron was good for us for a spell. Should we stick him in charge?
