This Season: Good start, just misses out on Champions League but next year will be "their year"

Next Year: Not their year but they just miss out on Champions League solely due to Europa League distractions. They manage to finish just outside European qualification places (a drop of 1 or two positions but previous season) which frees up their schedule so that next year can be "their year"

Following year: Again not their year. Klopp leaves Liverpool having been given lots of money but not enough time.

lol, i would hope as such, just worried they wont balls everything up as usual. Klopp himself will probably be beaten down by the whole 'our year next year' and leave as a jobless unemployable bum

 

For me it's irrespective if he wins something or not; the excitement it must generate to see this guy rock up as manager of your club is something NUFC can only dream of. Instead we get sacked lower league managers who tell us to support the team - beyond words, our club, I'm afraid.

 

I like what ive read about Klopp, seems like a top guy. But then again, I hope the british media tear him a new one! it would be interesting to see, especially if he entices them!

 

Like the way he plays football. It will be interesting to see how he does as he had a rotten time with Borussia at the end. No excuses, he had the players but for whatever reason got it wrong for that half season and nearly ****ed them. Left at the right time, took a good break and I think he will do well again. Seems a good character, I think the press will love him. Eventually they will try to get him of course, its the way it works here.
