I always wanted to be good at footy manager. Never understood it. Usually got sacked within three months so just added a new manager as the mags boss, sold all their best players for free and gave their worst youth players long term deals on 100k+ a week with a 50% yearly wage rise.I'd then slip down to my natural level in the conference and wait for them to slide down and join me.

    Good times.

It takes a season to get used to the way each addition works. Ended up stopping buying it. Getting too lardy da.

I've got the game emulator Dos Box and playing Championship Manger 93/94. Simple as ****(unlike Dos Box) and still retains it's addictiveness. Loving it but took a break to play Settlers 2.

Tax-dodging twat should be inside already. I'd rather talk to his dog, he's the one with the bank account, after all...

Sensi Soccer? I've got experience in that! Right where's my CV? I think it's under the dust.

Sensible World of Soccer is the greatest ever football game and my university hours, when not out drinking, were spent up playing that. Great days.

Did you have the cheat version where you got a million every time you pressed 'm'? Romario and Stoichkov up front, best forward pairing in the game.

Mate, I am/was clueless with things like that. remember Romario being well fast and good on the turn and Stoichkov having a rocket shot. Don't make games like that anymore!!

To be fair mate it was 1995. I have a little lad though so hoping I can persuade him to get all of the footy games now so I can relive my youth.

We have a better squad than Bournemouth, Watford, WBA, Villa and we WILL finish above them all. 8 matches does not make a season.Lens, M villa and Toivinan are class Johnson and defoe will come back stronger, it is down to the defence now.

Subbuteo. Fab. Had about 90 odd teams, made my first division teams with the little cardboard things out of shoot magazine and played the games. altered the leagues etc. SAFC won the title about 12 seasons running. Did the European thing as well. What a sad little tw*t I was.
PS, the old goalies on the wire not the plastic holders. I had a Joe Corrigan ( Man C) who was about an inch taller than the other keepers. He was a big git mind.

That brings back memories. Early sixties I worked at Dunlop on Team valley and we had a lunchtime Subbuteo league. So competitive and near fisticuffs on occasions.
