It's not like Norway is a third world country, the Olympic approved medical team should have been more than capable, sometimes these things happen.

You could be correct. Typical of the usual suspects to mock him before he has even kicked a ball in anger.

He looks the ideal foil for Abel Hernandez. My hope is that Adama and Abel are the 2015/16 version of Frankie Bunn & Billy Whitehurst back in the 80's.

Norway isn't some poverty-stricken third world country, it (and all of Scandanavia) is one of the best places to live in the world.

I never said it was a third world country. :D I'm saying we should have relied on our own doctors. It's not the first time we've relied on someone else's and been shortchanged.

No one has mocked him at all. One person was pessimistic (or alternatively was a big Jay Simpson fan), but no one has mocked him. I have no idea where you've got this from.

Are you making that assessment before he has even kicked a ball in anger?

It's not like we've relied on our doctors & got good value for it either.

He'll have scored 10 before the new year.

I'm quite optimistic that he'll bag a few goals, if he gets about 8/9 I'd say that £1.6mill would be a fantastic bargain

Would prefer a 2015/16 version of Chilton/Wagstaff from the 60's myself.

I'd prefer a 2015/16 version of Hernandez & Diomande scoring **** loads of goals & us finally getting the title!

I've seen him play quite a lot over the past 9 months. Was very surprised that Hull signed him. I think the Championship will be a step-up too far/quickly and the expectations of the club's performance this season is too high to give him a chance. He stood out far less than the likes of Berget, who was roundly mocked when at Celti... who are roughly Hull's equivalent level.

My belief is that he'll come on as sub a couple of times, maybe start one game, but then be loaned back to Norway come the start of the season in April.

    A very odd signing.

Wasn't there a supporter from Sweden who used to come on here? Febbos or Ferros, maybe he could give us some sort of expertise on the leagues out that way.
Players who come from there are normally pretty handy & have been successful in the past, it's an untapped area that we should be using along with the likes of Holland & Belgium instead of chasing players from Africa all the time.
I hope he does good as it's an interesting option if he does!

I'm going to remain optimistic, fingers crossed he can bag a few important goals and provide a different option to Hernandez. People have always had doubts whether players could step up and sometimes are surprised by the results, ala Ian Ashbee.

Obviously I've not seen him play so will bow to your better judgement however I will remain positive!

If Diomande and Hernandez can be somewhere in between Chillo/Waggy & Bunn/Whitehurst then we shall walk the championship in 2015/16.

Yes of course I could be wrong. I'm not saying not to be positive.. just an opinion on what I have seen.

The Tippeligaen has got a lot better the last couple of years - as seen in the Europa league and Noreg's improved performance nationally.

So would I, but can't see them being prolific, but hope we do get the title.
