Ever think that when Carragher said he got put off by coaching because of the way managers are treated he was talking about the experiences he saw at our club more than as a general rule?

That was clearly what he meant since he referred to how it effected Houllier and Rafa

Nice wum. <ok>
So we should accept our mediocrity and not bother trying to improve.
Are you really Woy, by any chance?
I think you should accept the fact that you're not a powerhouse anymore and so expecting the top managers and players to form an orderly queue to run/play for your team is not realistic. The sense of entitlement amongst some Liverpool fans is way past its sell by date. You had a lot of success in the 70s and 80s. Great. Everton were successful in the 80s as well. You don't come across many Everton fans who believe that top 4, titles, cups etc is their right. Blackburn have won the league more recently than you have!

Quite possible frank, he would have seen a club legend treated badly but a nobody given time for no other reason than they don't understand the game that well is just wrong.

Although he could also be using that as an excuse as he prefers pundatry and the banter he has with Gary lol.

Not a right but must be a target. We are still in the top ten list of wealthy clubs (depending on the list Forbes may 15 puts us there)

Why would we accept that we can not translate that on to the football field?

Do you understand the difference between "entitlement" and "aspiration"?
If so, apply it to your logic.

I mean that list has four English teams ahead of us. Obviously a couple with a lot more money than us but not dvough that we couldn't challenge them . As we have seen over the last few years those teams have bad years and team rebuilding. We just have to be in a position to take advantage of it and attempt to maintain the leapfrog if and when it occurs

What is there for them to be jealous of at the minute? Your squad is ****, you don't have a manager and you are below them in the table. They must be incredibly envious!

"at the "minute" is like a grain of sand in the desert.

It would be completely stupid for them to brag or be envious about the current situations at both clubs, the jealousy has existed for many years along with some justifiable anger at the European ban when they had something to brag about.
But you having an opinion on something you know nothing about on our board isn't unusual Shtan.
