Mo Diame, for one: Mohamed Diamé and Lamine Sané are making their return for Senegal ahead of the Lions’ friendly clash with Algeria on 13 October. Sidelined for almost a year and ruled out of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations after suffering a serious knee injury last December, Hull City midfielder Diamé is yet to make an international appearance in 2015. Meanwhile, Bordeaux defender and Lions’ skipper Sané has fully recovered from a knee problem, which kept him out of Senegal trip to Namibia in their second Group K outing of the 2017 AFCON qualifiers in September. http://africanfootball.com//news/573544/Diam-San-make-Senegal-return?
McG, Robbo & Maloney all in the Scotland squad, not heard if Meyler's in the Ireland squad though? Can see Maloney picking up an injury, just know that now he's started playing for us something will happen!

Whatever happened to Alex Bruce International career with Northern Ireland, does he just not get picked now, or has he given up?
As far as I know he's just not getting picked. Perhaps they worked out that he's not really Norn Oirish - perhaps the English parents, birth and upbringing were their main clue, or perhaps it was the two full ROI caps...
The Scottish papers are claiming this is tonight's team - Marshall, Hutton, Martin, Hanley, Whittaker, Brown, D Fletcher, Forrest, Naismith, Ritchie, S Fletcher. Strachan is getting a fair bit of grief for leaving Maloney out.
He's not getting in our team atm, so he can't expect to be called up to the NI squad. His injury last month probably didn't help either.
CJM's Antigua and Barbuda team ****ed up a 1-0 aggregate lead to lose 2-1 overall to Guatemala. Maybe next time.
Brady starts for ROI. Meyler on the bench as usual, as are Long and Macca (but not Quinn). Northern Ireland: McGovern, McAuley, McNair, Cathcart, S. Davis, Brunt, Evans, Dallas, Norwood, Ward, Magennis.SUBS: Carroll, Mannus, Hodson, McCullough, McArdle, Ferguson, Reeves, McCourt, McGinn, Grigg, McKay, Boyce. Every time I see Norwood play he impresses me. His set-pieces are v good too.
