He did didnt he I think he thinks its slowly getting better Some of his earlier interviews he sounded a bit downbeat
It was the same last season . Men go on about liking their beer and then when paying more than the norm decide to throw it into the air .
Do we dust worselves down after wins too, or does a winning run mean players and coaches get steadily dustier?
Abel Hernandez has scored six penalties in Europe since signing for Palermo on 02/02/09: For Palermo - v Siena 02/10/11 v Cagliari 11/02/12 v Padova 08/09/13 v Siena 21/10/13 For Uruguay - v Tahiti 23/06/13 For Hull City - v Manchester City 27/09/14
Glenn Murray - usually a good penalty taker - had his penalty saved. Don't let a right footed player side foot the ball to the right! Cabaye did the same against Myhill but Boaz inexplicably had made his mind up which way to dive beforehand.
Odabajo played well, but as you say he isn't a left back, or certainly needs practice His body was often in slightly the wrong position in defence which weirdly meant he kept getting fouled (because he was fast enough to change position and get ahead) Good day out
Odabajo wouldn't really have been able to get any worse . If I remember correctly , the first 4 times he had possession , he gave it away , softly, each time . He is no left back , he goes the wrong side of his opponent . Gareth Southgate must also play him out of position . Isn't Clucas meant to be left-sided ? He spent a lot of time occupying the same space as Elmohamady . This was described as a ' stellar ' performance on CI - I know a win puts a gloss on things , but I think that is stretching it somewhat .
A good match report from Rick Skelton: http://boothferrytowembley.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/nottingham-forest-0-hull-city-1-view.html
I haven't read the last 15 pages cause I can't be arsed. But what I have read from Peter about Abels penalty and his general views on it are ridiculous. Laughable. If anythings changed in the last wad of comments then tell me **** off.
