Madness. I've been singing Waltham's praises but his comments don't add up. The **** is going on.

I don't know what the criteria are for an NCEL ground but there can't be many in Hull which fit the bill.

Wouldn't be surprised if they end up at somewhere like Brid on a temporary basis. Although I think Scarborough Athletic play there already so maybe not.

The more competition the better. Never hurt any other place.

Well I don't know about rugby, that's probably got a smaller potential fanbase.

 

Mmm but that's Rugby and it's a bit ****. Two football teams would be alright. It doesn't seem to affect Bristol City or Nottingham Forest.

 

Support for the Bristol.clubs isn't very good considering the size of the place.compare Sheffield, a similar size.

 

There a lack of loyaly with quite a number of city fans who would go support another club if it got successful.

 

I've been to a Steel City derby, it was electric. It'd be amazing if one day we had something like that.

 

Then they were never really City fans. We can do without those sorts.

 

Doubtful it would happen. Sheffield is a larger city with a long tradition of football. They had 2 football teams for a long time when Hull had 2 rugby clubs and no football club. Some places have football ingrained into them, I am afraid Hull isn't one of them, at least not to the extent of places like Sheffield.

 

Every tradition starts some time of course, before that there isn't a tradition.

I don't really get this comment if I'm honest. I appreciate that Hull obviously has 2 rugby league teams and doesn't have the derby games Sheffield has but a football fan is a football fan. I was born and bred in Hull but now live in Sheffield and have done for 15 years. The steel city derbys are massive games in the city and the banter is endless between the 2 clubs, however, that doesn't mean my passion for Hull City is any less compared to my husband's who is a Blades fan. In fact even he will admit (in a weak moment!) that I am a bigger fan and care more than he does despite us both having season tickets. Maybe I've misinterpreted what you're trying to say? It just annoys me this whole Hull is a rugby town sentiment.

 

Hull isn't a rugby city, it's a sports city.

You cannot really say that.....I know a lot of Hull City fans who now choose to watch Hull United because they cannot or will not support Allam Tigers

 

Allam doesnt turn up anymore so hopefully we ll do well, go up, and he can pisd off
