Thought it was canny when it hit Rodwell's knee onto the Spurs bar last week - might miss that if he was playing centre half like <whistle>

    I would go:

    .......................Pants...........................

    Yedlin.....Oshea....Rodwell....Robson

    ...............M'villa..........Catts................

    Lens..............Tolvenein............Borini

    .......................Watmore.........................

That's how I'd hope DA would approach it.

We need 2 new full backs, Jonea and PVA aren't cutting it right now. Borini and LW/Inside forward to help cover Robson. Yedlin I imagine will be an upgrade of Jones (after all he is an international).

Rodwell is a CB, played there as a kid and for Everton. Im not sure who tried to convert him to a CM in the past, but he clearly isnt one.

M'villa to dictate play and pick a forward pass, Catts to act as a holding mid and sweep up any loose balls.

Watmore to use his pace to get behind defenders from either M'villa picking a pass or a flick on from Tolvenein - who will use his height to support Watmore.

Then both Lens and Borino to offer width, get a cross in and get into the box.

Its beggers belief how DA has not attempted this or even thought of this. IMO the team above is far superior to any team already played.

Ideally I would prefer Pickford in goal for us as both current keepers are sh*t.

IMO this is true. But, luck favors those with wonderful natural talent, like Payet and Sakho. They are brilliant footballers. Mark them, stop them, and poach a late goal. Easy peasy.
